  1. Since it's difficult to conceal a shotgun, I'll stick with my Walther PPQ in 40 S&W.
  2. About the same here. I carried one in my vehicle for yrs. before we had permits. Never got caught tho. Did make me nervous once. Had a wreck in Atlanta, totaled the car. Was afraid the police would find it before I could retrieve it. Dodged a bullet out of state.
  3. They've been there a long time. Wonder what happened to warrant closing.
  4. That is sooo true. I know several people that have a permit ( men & women ), that do not carry on their person or in the vehicle. Usually at home in a dresser drawer, etc. A pity!
  5. Appears as tho you're right. Satellite map shows parking may be a bit iffy. Oh, well..........
  6. It's usually a decent show. I'm thinking it's in the same building as usual, maybe an old factory or something, not sure what it was originally, it's decent size tho. Someone correct me if I'm wrong ( always a possibility, lol).
  7. June 25 / 26th RK Shows will be @ the Expo Center in the "Boro. Adm. $10, unless you have a coupon. One of the members here usually posts one. Got my new TGO T-shirt in the mail today, looks great, guess I'll wear it to the show & break it in, LOL.
  8. Got mine in the mail today. Looks great. Thanks David. Got a gun show in the 'Boro this coming weekend, good time to break it in. That's R.K. Shows BTW
  9. Find a frame for the check. It'll be a collectors item, LOL
  10. I had a Taurus PT709 slim, good little gun, shot well, accurate for it's size, etc, sold it a few weeks ago. But the PPS just kinda reached out & grabbed me by the shirt collar & would not let go, LOL. Anyway, good luck with your venture, the PPK is a great gun as well. BTW, did I mention I'm a big Walther fan, LOL
  11. I agree, you can click a box for an electronic signature most places anymore, no different here that I can see. As usual, with the state, most issues just come down to money. If it's too easy they won't do it.
  12. Agree on the size & capacity, can't agree on a duplicate. To each his own tho, LOL. I've had my taste set for the PPS M 2 for a while. As soon as I can gather the funds, it'll be in my hand. Unfortunately, it's gonna be a while. Hate it when that happens.
  13. Yep! That's all you need.
  14. Personally, I would have kept the PPS M2, but JMHO
  15. Same here. I've had mine for years, still no sag, etc. Not cheap, but it'll last.
  16. Initially, I had the same issues. I just waited until the software got itself upright, then changed my password. Your issue could be somewhat different. Patience was key, LOL.
  17. Order placed, looks good. Thanks David.
  18.    Very true. Friendly fire doesn't have a check list.
  19. "Incoming rounds have the right of way".
  20. The Hornady One-Shot is the best lube I've run across. Works well in the die, no primer or powder fouling issues to worry about. Not necessary to clean after sizing,; you can if you want to. Can't get much easier unless someone else does it for you.
  21.    Yep! Sometimes called Ole Stick Face
  22. My Garmin GPS warns of  traffic cameras.  Simplest solution would be to just stop at the red light.
  23. This program is a "feel good " program dreamed up by our VA, to get he monkey off their back due to the lengthy wait times for an appointment. It's as useless as tits on a boar hog. By the time you jump thru all the qualifying hoops, you're dead in the water. I have a card my self, does fairly well to pick your teeth with.
  24. I use Hornady One Shot spray lube. Doesn't have to be wiped off. Doesn't harm powder or primers.
  25.    Well, a diet coke, that's it. Didn't go to buy, just wanted to see the venue. Present day budget doesn't allow for more guns, etc.  Be assured, tho, there were no shortages of guns. Down side, physically, I just wasn't able to cover the entire thing. Prices seemed to be "gun show prices". I looked at mostly reloading prices, which were a bit higher than normal. Thought I might pick up some Vh N140, but found none. Always go to Reloaders Bench, Mt. Juilet for that anyway. Greg, you have got to get out there, you'll be like a kid in a toy store. FWIW, if anyone goes anytime soon, DO NOT go the route on Mapquest or GPS. There is a bridge out in East Tulsa that has traffic royally screwed up. NO marked detours at all. I would love to have a few moments with whoever was in charge of that. We came back thru hwy 75 South to I-40, and had no problem. Would suggest going in the same way. If you think Nashville is bad ( and it is ), Tulsa is much worse, traffic/street wise. Aside from that, we had a great trip. Weather was perfect, no road issues, other than the previous stated. Next show is in Nov. I believe. Tired, but glad to be back.  Think I'm getting too old for this stuff, LOL.
