  1. Oh, well, LOL. Thing is I voted for him. Clear choice between him & Hitlery.
  2. No loss for me. Levis' are overpriced & don't hold up as well as Wrangler. Enjoy your newfound freedom, Chip.....as long as it lasts.
  3. Cool gun. It was a force to be reckoned with back in the day.
  4. Wouldn't be surprised. Certainly looks big in the pic.
  5. Congrats, Greg. Nice!! I'm turning green with envy as I type, LOL.
  6. Weather doesn't sound good, think I'm just going to get up, see how it looks & go from there. Time in the woods is better than time at home.
  7. Dream on, LOL No need to start looking for kindling.
  8. Man, I hope so. I've still got my eye on a Walther PPS M2, that I'm still trying to convince my self that I can afford it somehow. No luck thus far, LOL. Being poor is a B - - - h.
  9. Just another stupid Gov. idea to fix something that wasn't broken.
  10. Like everywhere else, use whatever cover is available, and keep you gun hand free. Old gunfighter trick, but still holds true today.
  11. Well, FWIW, John Gotti was the "teflon Don" for quite a while. No charges stuck. His luck finally ran out. Hopefully, hers will do the same. Arrogance will eventually come back & bite your butt.
  12. I knew you were working thru some issues lately, so, no problem here. These things usually have a snag or two. You hung in there & got 'er done. No worries mate. Thanks David, looks good.
  13. Went Sat. AM, total bust. Lot of empty tables, not much of a crowd. Didn't see many guys walking around buy/selling either. TN Foundation Service had a booth, I guess in case your gun room floor had cracks in it, LOL.
  14. Some states allow bear baiting, not so in TN. Everyone involved knows that. Risk & reward, I guess. I don't consider baiting "hunting", myself. Baiting is illegal for deer also, but using a scent attractant is. Don't see a difference. Strange laws this TWRA has at times.................
  15. I made my first visit to the new R. K. Show location @ the 'boro this am. Not very impressed. No where near as large as the old location, what space was there wasn't anywhere near full. Lots of empty tables. Of course, Goodman is in Nashville this weekend also, I believe. That likely took away some of the dealers & crowd. Hope this improves when they move to the Wilson Co. Expo center.
  16. Love squirrel hunting. Been doing it since I was a little kid. Meant to go this AM. but sore shoulder changed my mind. Finding a place to hunt around here is near impossible. Everything is either cut up in 1 acre tracts, or posted by the antis'.
  17. I have a flip phone. If the call is a number/name I don't recognize, I open the phone, close it quickly, hangs up. "If" it's an important call, they'll leave a voicemail. Works for me.
  18. Greg, what size is that, as compared to, the "boro show.
  19. Well, the potential certainly is there. Great location, easier to access than Nashville, right off I-40 onto Hwy.70. But, as you said the best venue on the planet isn't worth much if it isn't taken advantage of. Maybe 12 mi. from me. As we all know, the former shows there were as useless as a side saddle on a hog. Keeping my fingers crossed................
  20. OK, got it. Thanks guys. It's tough getting old, LOL
  21. Well, this doesn't work for me. I don't want to stop notifications, as I have none. What I want to stop, is, this annoying pop up message that says, "Would you like to receive notifications from this site." It pops up on every new page or thread. A pain in the butt!!
  22. Bought a Husqvarna Rancher 455 20" bar a few years ago. Runs like top from day one 'til now. No issues with it. Had an old Homelite Super XL 12 years ago that was it's equal. If I had to buy another one, it would be another Husq. JMHO
