  1. PM would have been better, I agree. Apology accepted. I prefer not to discuss the matter any further, & let it drop. Tks, Larry
  2. Mac, I guess I'm confused here. On the " where to go in Maine" thread, Chucktshoes referred to Canadians crossing the border as " Snow Mexicans". Is this OK?
  3. Apparently you did not see the things he called me. I responded in kind. I hope it can be resolved, if not, I'll move on. I'm not a PC type person, & I stand my ground. I am not the person Chucktshoes claimed me to be, regardless of his interpretation.
  4. I agree, but since he chose not to go the PM route, neither did I. BTW, the thread was deleted, so no record, I guess.
  5. Several weeks ago, moderator Chucktshoes, chose to ban me from TGO, for a post I made in the politics forum. I have been on this Earth 74 1/2 years, and have never been accused of any of the things he outright accused me of saying. My "words, as he phrased it, were taken straight from Google. If anyone has an issue with the "words" , talk to Google. As to hating Jews, I have a close friend who is Jewish, and we have breakfast every am @ Mc Donalds in Hartsville. He is also a Navy veteran. We have no issues. As for racist, I have several friends who are black. One a TN State Trooper that I would take a bullet for, and he would me. Chucktshoes, what you said is a lie. I would like to see you be man enough to admit it, but not likely. If you or anyone else wants to delete this before it gets viewed, or ban me permanently, be my guest. My conscience is clear. I know who I am & what I am. You do not know me at all. No one that knows me will agree with your statement. I think I stepped on your ego a bit when I didn't agree with you, and you made it personal. Maybe not, but you were terribly wrong. Do as you wish...........
  6. I hate to hear about a situation like that, it's a royal pain in the butt. Been in a few myself. Hope it works out well for you eventually. If he's left the state ( or not ), likely the ATF will track him down.
  7. I saw the mag a few weeks ago @ Wally world, but passed it up. Bought it today, curiosity got the best of me I guess, LOL. Read the article, & I agree this may be the wave of the "future", no time soon for civilians, maybe military use. Being a former grunt, ground pounder, etc. ,It would have been nice to have that load lightened. Of course, being a grunt, doing that, I'd just add more ammo. Can NEVER have too much. Especially like the way it handles the machine guns & mini guns. Have to be pretty dang good to survive that.
  8. Watching the Derby Sat., they were advertising Woodford Reserve, which they said they used for the mint julips. So, we went to the Mtns Mon thru Fri. I went to the store & got a sample bottle, just to see if I would like it. Very good, will try a larger version at some time. Not cheap tho, think it was like $ 25 for a pt.
  9. Move to Lebanon, I was in & out in about 30 mins. YMMV, LOL. I was shocked!
  10. Key part.......4.7Mil + 60 jobs lost. Safety had nothing to do with it. Try whittling down on the cost of a HCP here & see how that goes. Not happening. Once a state gets their greedy paws on some money ( tax ), it never lets go.
  11. I'd say you're right. I had to get a new one & it had been a while, not sure how long.
  12. I put a small piece of garbage bag plastic underneath mine yrs ago. Set it on top of the cab. Worked!
  13. 12a. w/ 00 Buck works well I'm told, close range of course. Read it on the internet, so.......... Ants are annoying wherever they are.
  14. Sounds like fun. Do a little of that on a smaller ( cheaper ) scale, LOL. Have 2 small helicopters, one indoor one outdoor. Would prefer the real thing, but there's that expense thing ( millions ). Have fun sailor......
  15. Just an opinion, don't know for certain, but I would say good luck getting Sprint in G'ville. They & AT&T rarely show up in rural areas. They don't want to spend the money there. Been down that road with them.
  16. Same here, Verizon. Had it for years. Also earlier, had satellite internet. Better than dial up, but not very fast, not much bandwidth ( Wild Blue was the name ), about the same as Hughes. No cable where I live either. Currently, our local electric utility, Tri County Electric, is running fiber optic here in Trousdale Co. 3 different speeds available, 50/50 meg ( up & down load ), 100/100 meg, 1GB , @ $49.95, $59.95, $89.95 respectively. I signed up for the 50/50. Will be a few months before it gets to me. Hard to believe you can't get a satellite signal there, unless you're down in a deep hollow. If you can get Verizon cell service, you can get their internet hot spot service. Hang in there bud........
  17. I did once, tax included, years ago. Likely never do that gain. My ego is even smaller than my wallet, LOL
  18. Awesome! Thanks for posting that. Been wondering how that went.
  19. That's quite true, but the Libs & media don't want to bring that up. "We need more gun laws" sounds much better to the masses. Lib politicians make a good living off this crap. They never allow a good mass shooting go to waste. Certainly, this could easily have been prevented if all involved had done their job. Didn't happen. Hopefully, the loving, devoted Father will get a good chunk of his son's up coming pie. With his money, who's to say..........
  20. LOL, heard that before. She must be kin to my Mama.
  21. Really nice, not my type of holster, ordinarily, but occasionally I would use that. Great work!
  22. Not to worry. Mayor Briley's gonna clean up the town, get rid of all these war like guns, bring peace & harmony among his people. O' course he's not going to mess with the lunatics though, they're not the problem, guns are. I'd like to kick his sissy butt.....just saying.
  23. Well, a little stabbing never hurt anyone, right?
  24. Well, I feel a bit sorry for you, but I was sick for the past 3 days, so you're not paddling by your self, LOL.
