The thought crossed my mind. Not the 1st strange thing that's happened back there. Just another reason to "carry". LOL

Caught this pic a few nites ago, in the woods behind my house. Pic is in grey scale . Appears to be a long, wide beam of light about 30 to 36" in dia., at a slight angle. Definitely not a tree. Goes from the ground up as far as the camera showed. Appeared at 2 min. 23 secs past midnite. Large oak tress make a canopy where this was. Light could not make it thru like this. Found no sign of it next morning. Weird. Lots of strange things have occurred back there.

Video: Defendant Lunges for Oregon Officer's Gun in Court
Grunt67 replied to volshayes's topic in General Chat
I worked as a Deputy locally, and also as court officer. First mistake, ( MHO ), was to not allow restraints. Asking for trouble eventually. I agree, the officer should not have been seated at the table in close proximity to the defendant, while armed. This is very similar to the catastrophe in Atlanta a few yrs ago, that went bad, and caused the court system to begin courtroom security program we have today. Not all courts follow the rules. You can rightfully blame the judge if things go bad, but that won't restore someones life. -

Wondered that myself, tho sometimes tracking isn't as easy as it sounds. Sure there is a good reason why that didn't work. I just hope he doesn't slip thru a crack somewhere & hurt someone else. He doesn't have much to lose at this point, except his life. -

There is no such thing, unless threat exists. This ain't FBI & Ruby Ridge! -
I noticed that too, had to wait quite a long time while the clerk spent some quality time with a friend of his. Only been in there the one time, maybe a bad day, maybe usual way of doing things, Doesn't make for a good 1st impression. Next time I'm up there, I'll check out the Smoky Mtn Knife works as well.

Fugitive in Montgomery County

True. Last report I saw, he was still on the loose, & supposedly killed 2 already. Very dangerous. -
Stevens Crack Shot, single shot 22, w/ falling block lever. Lost it in a fire some yrs back. Really hated to lose that old friend.

LOL, it's definitely that. Separate rooms ( sections ) for long guns & handguns, access. Kinda blew me away. Wasn't expecting that In spite of all that, they didn't have the pistol I was looking for. ( New model of PPS M2 Walther has come out with, with the RSMc red dot sight on it. ) Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

If you're referring to Buds Guns in Seveirville, TN, it is huge. Also has online sales.

America Motorsports near Rivergate handled all mine. They did a great job. Sloans is reported to be good also. Probably one is about as close to you as the other.

You can get a decent trail cam for under $100 at Walmart, Academy, etc. They take good pics day or nite if it is equipped with infrared ( most are ). I have one ( Bushnell ), that I run 24/7 in the woods behind my house, picks up all kinds of critters, even 2 legged. Hate a thief, & love to catch one. Make sure wherever you set it up, it's not easily seen, or they'll steal it too. Had that to happen. Good luck, bud.

He looked quite a bit worse for wear. Didn't look healthy. Whatever was bothering him, it won't again. Had to wash out the bed of my truck, he stunk up the place.

Got this young coyote in my live trap last night. He's been hanging around for a few nites. Guess hunger got the best of him, that can of tuna was just too good to pass up.

I used to hunt Catoosa ( Bi-Color), about every year. A bunch of guys from Hartsville & surrounding area, 10 - 15 of us. Rarely ever killed anything but time. Lot of fun tho. After the Forestry Service took over LBL from TVA, things changed some. Less getting off the main roads to get back in the woods, camping restricted to established camp grds, etc. At one time, one of, if not the best place in the state to hunt. Still be my 1st choice ( if I had one, LOL )

Yep! That's the way the point system works. I haven't been in yrs. Got to the point where I couldn't drag one out if I killed it. my fav spot has always been Land Between The Lakes. Sometimes takes a while to get drawn, but great place to hunt. It's totally separate from the State drawing. Go online to their website & you an see how it works. Too late for this yr tho. Good luck with your hunt(s).

You could have your local PD run it to see if it's been reported. Sometimes is, sometimes not. Worth a try, other than that you're pretty much on your own.

Man, I feel your pain. Every time Windows 10 updates my desktop, it screws something up. For a company that's supposed to be the leader in software, Microsoft sucks.
