True, and women more than that. LOL Seriously tho, nothing wrong with changing your mind, there's often a better idea to be had. I've had both Moderna vaccines at the VA. No issues. I don't buy the idea that Pfizer is any better than Moderna. Haven't heard any official word on that.

Thanks to a tip from a buddy on the Henry rifle forum, I scored 4 lbs. IMR4198 on Hogdons' site. They sell direct to the public when they have some. I wasn't aware of this til yesterday. No idea what's there now, but might want to check it out & keep a watchful eye later. You an also sign up for email notifications.

I have 2 hearing aids, furnished by the VA, so no cost, thankfully. The first ones I had were the little in the canal type. A royal pain in the ass to use. Hard to get in & out, volume control almost unusable. Finally quit using them. Years later, I got the newer version ( behind the ear & little cone inside the ear. these worked really well. I have a newer version of that now. The ones you se on TV, I believe, just basically amplify, with out all the extra bells & whistles. Noise reduction, directional hearing, etc. You kinda get what you pay for. The good ones run several thousand $$$$. Bottom of the list is $29 at Walmart. They do work, up to a point. I used on temp. when one of mine quit. This may not have the answer you were looking for completely, but hopefully it will help some. Good luck, Larry

Folks, I used Brasso by hand, with a rag, and polished cases for years, before I found something better. Never had any issues with cracking, splitting, or smelling bad in wet weather, LOL. My guess, someone had an issue, gave the blame to Brasso. JMHO FWIW.

I was in there in the 'boro Mon Am, nothing!!

I have one I bought at Walmart years ago. Never had a problem with it, or had cause to need it in a dispute. As another poster said, don't go cheap on the SD card.

Ditto.

I got both of mine at the VA M'boro. Moderna vaccine. No issues whatsoever. YMMV

News indeed. Money issues maybe? -
I read the article in American Rifleman on the PDP. Already had a heads up from Walther, but this was a good thorough article on it. I have a PPS w/RSMC factory mount. I like this PDP better in some ways. Not enough at this time to trade, but would be on it if not for that. Walther really has done their homework on this. And as you said, the red dot system isn't a toy any longer. It's here to stay for good reason.

If he gets into a fire fight, and lives to wish he had one more round, then he'll be a believer.

Are you prepared for this incoming ice storm?

When I was growing up ( assuming I ever did), big snows were normal. Now it's a rare exception. Other than boredom, it hasn't bothered me all that much. -
I have pushed them out slowly with the decapper. Never had a problem, but never reuse them. The anvil may be damaged & why take a chance.

I went the last time, and as I reported, it was loooong lines, prices bumping the ceiling, if there was even any thing to buy. If you have the patience & warm clothes ( gonna be real cold ), then have at it. Personally, I don't plan on going again, waste of time for me. Not looking to buy or sell. Use your own judgement.

Received an email today stating Lebanon Gun Store is now back open, due to receiving enough inventory to do business. No details as to what they received.

Not sure what travel has to do with Covid, but had my 1st shot at VA in the 'boro. No problems, never felt the shot, not sore, back for #2 , Feb. 22.

I'm certainly no expert on this, never tried it, etc. From what I see, hear, read, it is well oversaturated. Seems to be a stand on every corner, roadside, store, online. Just my $.02

I wore Levis for years, but as Greg said, the price kept going up & the quality taking a nose dive. Ended up going to Wrangler, priced reasonable, fit, not too bad. And yes, I'm cheap as well.

I'm not that familiar with the stores inner workings, as to revenue. I do know the gunsmith charges $200 / hr. Don't recall about transfer costs. I doubt they could survive long with only those 2 sources of revenue. Small store, small town. Other stores in town also.

I got an email this am from Lebanon Gun Store, advising that they are closing temporarily, until the y can get in more product. They will still take appts. for gunsmith, and transfers. Sign of the times, as they say.

area-nashville Lebanon gun show Jan 16 & 17. 2021
Grunt67 replied to Grunt67's topic in Events and Gatherings
Forgot about this, till this am. See a couple of dealers that had broken down boxes of ammo. & repackaged in small brown paper bags, 10 rds ea. People grabbing ammo, like water in a disaster zone. Another show next month. Might want to camp out ahead a few days, if you wanna get in. Just saying...... -

Yep, it was, I didn't exaggerate the prices. I was expecting to see that, but still sticker shock to actually see it on a price sticker.
