  1. Had both Moderna shots at the VA, and will get the booster when available. To me not getting the shots is Russian roulette.
  2. Nothing wrong with road kill as long as it's fresh, and not bruised.
  3. My ex MIL, used to go there & get jugs full of the stuff. Stunk like crap & didn't do anything for her disposition or looks. I think they did cap them at some point. She's now dead & buried. I doubt if grass grows over her grave.
  4. True. If I remember correctly, from what I've read & heard, the mineral wells were major attraction. They either dried up, or something happened to eventually end it over time. That was before my time as well, LOL. The old Donoho hotel is still in business. The have some good eating there.
  5. Nice article in NRA Rifleman mag this month, about Remington ammo making comeback. Lengthy article, but nice read. Sounds promising.
  6. They had offers to build dams above to prevent flooding, but declined. Bad decision. RBS was a nice resort town back in the day, hotels, mineral wells. Finally fizzled out.
  7. Several of those new Chrysler's got jammed under the bridge. We spent the night there. 3am somebody was firing shots on the hill. I bought my first pistol the next night. Outsiders driving thru during the nite. Never forgot that experience.
  8. No one. You probably don't remember Red Boiling Springs in 1969. Same situation. I was there with the Westmoreland CD, and others. Rough going. Hartsville & Adolphus ,KY,also hit.
  9. You are correct. I fixed it, LOL. $2 to $4 per round. Thanks
  10. Yep, that is a bit late. Thing is, SEC & ACC pretty much rules the roost right now.
  11. This Fri. nite we play Upperman at home. They're 4A, we're 2A, both 1-0. Should show us where we are.
  12. Honeymoons on Rocky Top seem to have a short lifespan. Hope it works out tho.
  13. You should have sent me a text, I'd have waited for you, LOL.
  14. Speaking for myself, I started reloading in 1967 ( 30-06 ). Mostly money then, and maybe better rounds. Today, depends on what you're reloading. Currently, I'm reloading 45/70 for my Henry lever rifle. When I first bought it, I bought a box of Federal Fusion 300 gr. HP. Supposed to be the cat's meow. When I shot the target, it looked like I had shot buckshot at 50 yds. All over the paper. Finished the box for the brass & started reloading Hornady 300gr HP, over 40.5 grs IMR4198. 3 shots in basically the same widened hole at 25 yds. A box of 45/70, if you can find it, runs from $2.00 to $4.00 a round depending on the load. I can easily beat that, but it's the accuracy I get. Plus, I just enjoy doing it. Passes off time when the weather is bad. Keeps me off the streets for a while, LOL. Everybody's needs differ. I haven't bought a box of ammo since. I've got enough components now to last me a while, plus a bunch loaded up. I'm good for a looog time.
  15. Thanks, 10X state champs, thru the years.
  16. That it did. My team ( Trousdale Co. ) won.
  17. This. That's why I don't have a laser. I do, have a red dot tho.
  18. I love football, high school, college, Pro. I'll watch a good game regardless of who's playing.
  19. No harm in dreaming, LOL.
  20. Maybe. I doubt it. Most Conservatives wouldn't pass up the opportunity.
  21. No expert here, but I wouldn't touch it. Think $3 bill.
  22. Greg, as an old guy who has cut my share of trees, some with a hinged limb such as yours. Poison ivy aside, it's a dangerous situation. Hire a bucket truck & crew.
  23. I had that same thing happen at Burger King, some time ago. Blew her mind. Took me several minutes to get her back on the planet.
  24. Got my first sighting ( sort of , inside in the showroom ), of the new Bronco. Went by Miracle Ford in Gallatin today. They had one in the showroom, the Big Bend edition, red in color, soft top ( rolled back ), front door off to see inside. Big wheels, looked really great ( to me ). I like it, looks ready to hit the boonies. From what I've seen & read, I like the Badlands version the best. Add to that the Sasquatch package, I'm good to go. As I said before, it'll be next year, wait til the dust settles, & production catches up with demand. Roofs & computer chips are a major issue right now. I read the other day, that the Louisville Ford plant has hundreds of trucks parked at the Kentucky Speedway, waiting on chips. BTW, Mrs. Monkey, I like the way you think, LOL Have fun.
