  1. Watched the whole game, loved every minute,. Arizona took their lunch money. Julio didn't impress. Chiefs were fun tho.
  2. Kinda hard to hide everything on your duty belt. The uniform is kinda obvious too.
  3. I love old machinery, but it's a bit far for me too. Enjoy.
  4. I always thought BC was before Clinton.
  5. Understood, LOL.
  6. Made my usual trip to the M'boro VA yesterday. 6 mo. checkup, shot on hip, flu shot. shingles shot ( takes 2 ). Other than a sore shoulder from the shingles shot, I came away no worse for wear.
  7. You're right about that. Usually takes 2 or 3 stomps.
  8. I see one of them on rare occasions. Some mean looking dudes. Stomp every one I see.
  9. Tuff hide.
  10. I can't believe I watched that whole thing!
  11. And she's been vewy, vewy, quite lately.
  12. I resemble that remark! LOL
  13. That's true, but I've got enough that I can be choosy. Unfortunately, not all are in that position. Hopefully, they can work it out.
  14. There was a good article in American Rifleman mag, not long ago, interviewing Remington. They said they will be full tilt. Of course this won't happen overnight, but sounded better. That said, I don't use Rem. primers. I use CCI exclusively. Just personal choice. Expect prices to be higher than before. My 2 cents worth.
  15. Since you're the expert on ambush, I'll not continue the argument. And yes, I have been on the bad side of an ambush.
  16. Police OC, they get ambushed regularly. It's on the news.
  17. I got 5 seed ticks off my lower leg a few days ago, after walking thru some weeds. First ones I'd seen this year. I"m sure they weren't alone.
  18. Data is like polls, you can make it what you want. Everybody has the right to decide for themselves. Personally, I will only CC. Just because you have a visible weapon, doesn't mean you can't be approached from behind. I prefer to at least have some element of surprise, and survival. How about a link to the data?
  19. To me, this whole thing started downhill the moment the gov. got involved. Imagine that! The one thing the VA did right. Fill out a simple form, get the injection, leave. No muss, no fuss.
  20. This whole vaccination thing is strange to me. I have never been one that was afraid of needles or vaccines. Usually, when a needle was stuck in me, there wasn't really much choice. Get the shot, get better, or not do so & suffer the consequences. Reminds me of my Army days, where in basic training, we were told to line up & go thru the gauntlet of medics on each side with the spray paint gun type injection apparatus. Roll up your shirt sleeve & get hit on both sides at the same time. No option. Never saw anyone raise their hand to opt out. Again, when we were preparing to leave for Vietnam, more of the same. No choices. Then there were the Malaria pills. I have no idea what was in these vaccines, never gave it a thought. Thing was, I never contracted any of the numerous diseases to be had. I also used the dreaded iodine tablets in my canteen. Tasted like crap, but you lived with it. I've never suffered any ill effects from any of it.
  21. Xsubsailor, that looks like a good deal. Next time mine bites the dust, I'll check it out.
  22. As Hozzie said, wall thickness is key. I bought one from Lowes, 20'. had to replace it several times. Will not stand winds more than 30 mph +-. The 3X5 flag catches too much wind, snaps it right off.Haven't checked the wall thickness on this one, but it's thinner than reg. electrical conduit. I appreciate all flying our flag. Thanks.
  23. Time to dust off my old tin foil hat, and get my black helicopter out of the barn.
  24. Mark Pody is a good guy. He used to cover Trousdale, wish he still was. Terry Lynn Weaver signed also.

    New Gun!

My eyes don't like open sights either. I put a 2x7 scope on mine. Works for me.
