  1. The Sheriff said this make take weeks or months to sort out. I'll wait until the facts are in before I hang anybody. Too much confusion on who did or didn't do what. JMHO

  13. On a side note I had a chance to buy a M16 years ago, at a Clarkville gun show. Before the Feds changed the law. I had the money, but decided it was needed more elsewhere. I've regretted that ever since. You can still buy one, but the price is like buying a house.
  14. You're right, mine was the A1 version. This was the only pic I had available, but they're similar from a distance. I hated the M14, because it was heavy, ammo heavy, kicked like a Missouri mule. When I was going thru the line getting weapons, they gave me a M16, thought I hit it lucky til I went down a bit further, then they gave me the M203. Put me right back in the heavy range + had to carry ammo for that too. I carried 400 rds in mags ( more in my pack ), 18 asst rds for the M203. It did come in quite handy at times. Oh, well, LOl.
  15. Pic of weapon like I carried in 'Nam, 1967. Wish I still had it.
  16. He was a character, LOL. If you looked up Drill Instructor. you'd probably find his picture there.
  17. That's interesting. I had the M203 attached underneath my M16. Mean son of a gun.
  18. Chiefs have no defense, O line has been rebuilt, still needs help. Mahomes tries to do to much under bad situations. I believe the Bengals are for real. Still way too early to anoint anybody. Stay tuned, as they say.
