I'm in the same boat. VA doc put me on Ozempic a couple months ago. Lost 10# +, lost appetite, not hungry, nothing tastes really good. Used to eat a burger, now about half & I'm done. A1C down to 6+. Doc was pleased, but takes some getting used to. Would like to lose 20 more. Would be easier on my knees & legs as well. Good luck brother, hang in there.

Definitely. My Henry 45/70 has a nice rubber recoil pad from the factory that " helps ", but still builds up some hurt after several shots. Still fun tho. With that size cartridge, you can only expect some side effects, LOL. Enjoy...........

I had a Stevens Crack Shot , I used it til I was a teenager. Many a squirrel & rabbit went in the pot. Got burned up in a fire.

No damage in SW Trousdale county, I lucked out, was headed this way, but broke up a bit before it got here. We used to play Mayfield in football, back in the 90s. Saw some of the damage on TV, I was up till 4:30 am.

This disease is nothing to joke about. My Mother died from the disease in 2013. Terrible way to go. It would be a blessing if it works. It's too late for her, but maybe not for others.

res308's post covered it pretty well, as to what you do. We only had 2 commissioners, 1 full time, 1 pt. time. Part time usually got the short end of the hours stick. Likely, Macon being larger & larger case load, there may be more help. Find out how that works there. Not being familiar with Macon, not much more I can add. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I remember warden Meeks, been quite a while. As for Judicial Commissioner, I was asked by Judge Linville if I would be interested in the job. I declined, due the hours required at times. Having worked as a Corrections officer at the jail, I was familiar with the all hours aspect. Not for me. Think it over well, do what you believe best. Wish you the best.
