    .410 handgun???

You should try a 12 gauge Mossberg cruiser.
  2. You don't have the slightest idea where the rider was riding, or where the truck was, or anything. You don't even know if the truck was moving or stationary or the rider was moving. But everything can be twisted to fit your agenda, can't it?
  3. This thread should be an eye-opener to all of us. People are able to get an HCP because they DON'T YET have a criminal record. I see handcuffs and lawyers in the future for some of these posters.
  4. Thanks for the info on greenways. Sounds like we really need to get rid of the local option on park carry.
  5. Well, like I just asked on another thread, "What's a greenway?" I can ride on the road or through a cow pasture around here.
  6. What's a greenway? I live among cows.
  7. I'm sorry, but the only Rights we have are rights to a time to live and a place to die. Everything else can (and has, at one time or another) been taken away. How can something be a Right up to the point that a law takes it away? Most "Rights" are fictional and temporary.
  8. I see all of this anger over cyclists and think "and people wonder why I carry a gun?". Maybe I'll forget the bicycle and just continue to drive my F350 dually, at whatever speed and in whichever lane I like. . . . while texting on my cell phone.
  9. If you're choosing between hitting a cyclist with your car or driving into the ditch, you'd probably be ahead hitting the ditch. But you're free to choose either one.
  10. Ain't Misbehavin' - Fats Waller
  11. I've been plotting a biking route in my country neighborhood, but it's risky. No sidewalks, no shoulders, usually a ditch starts right at the white line (and there isn't always a white line).
  12. I know of no such right - where did you find it?
  13. I agree with the ruling, and those 'people' who demonstrate at funerals need their asses kicked.
  14. And it's a horrible choice for a defensive pistol, regardless of how many people have been killed with one or how many rounds you plan to put up the nose of an attacker. It's just slightly better than no gun at all.
  15. I'd say the major problem with .25 ACP will be penetration, so I'd carry FMJ if I actually carried it. Reminds me of another thread on another board: is a .25ACP big enough for serious purposes?. Best answer - no If I'm carrying it, yes if someone's pointing it at me. IMO, it's suitable only as a BUG unless you absolutely, positively can't conceal something bigger. Sorta like the .22 Mag derringers. As for Buffalo Bore ammo, I don't think I'd want to shoot +P rounds out of a pistol the size of a Zippo lighter.
  16. Take your old parts and your sad story and go see the plumbing pro at your local Lowe's.
  17. "In the Summertime" by Mungo Jerry.
  18. You probably should have asked before you ruined it.
  19. Thanks for the long answer. The same question will be asked at least 2 more times this year.
  20. Well, pay your money and take your choice. I'm not unloading or underloading my mags.
  21. I'm not familiar with Larry Vickers. Is he a mechanical engineer or a writer?
  22. If it's already been shot then I would shoot it.
  23. I want Vinny Gambini!

    S&W

Don't need to remember, have it right here in my SCSW -- 1962.
  25. I like liner lock knives. They're the best I've found for one-hand use.
