  1. Tastes sorta like bald eagle, but not quite as strong.
  2. Baked ham here at the ranch, with mustard/brown sugar glaze.
  3. If you ever want to move that monster, consider the weight now . . . especially if you use a 1.5" plywood top. I think I'd rather have two 7 foot benches than one 14 footer. Just food for thought . . .
  4. I'm Independent and always have been. I'll vote for Gingrich if I have to hold my nose to do it (I did the same for McCain). I want a strong conservative candidate as much as anyone else, but ANYBODY BUT OBAMA.
  5. Rich or Poor
  6. . . . from my alma mater.
  7. Me too - I wish Jesse Ventura could be your President, but not mine.
  8. There isn't going to be any one-on-one debate between O and Gingrich. My personal opinion is that there is no more than a 30% chance that there will be an election next November. We'll have an 'emergency' requiring an executive order delaying the election until a more 'opportune' time.
  9. Newt is an ambitious entertainer. I sometimes enjoy watching and listening to him, but I'm afraid that he's too fond of applause.
  10. I've always used the primer called for in the data in the loading manual.
  11. The data you already have should have specified a small pistol primer brand and strength. Check your loading manual.
  12. Strickj - it's simple. The portion of the internet service that the 'poor' are not paying for, i.e. the difference between what they pay and the market value of the service (the discount), is the part that is free to them. The difference between what they'll pay for the computer (assuming they ever pay anything) and the market value of the computer is the part that is free to them. The part that is free to them is the part that the other customers pay for. It's electronic welfare. There ain't any free lunches! The government doesn't give a damn about computer literacy or the 'poor'. They only spend money to buy votes.
  13. The message is "We're on our own".
  14. It has a lot more to do with buying votes than for preparing kids for the workforce. Most of us don't believe in the existence of the "free lunch". Some of us obviously do. In general, whatever someone receives without paying for, someone else pays for without receiving. I don't believe that governments and businesses indulge in charity. I've met accountants.
  15. REALLY? The ISP's won't raise their rates to the paying customers to cover their loss? Another free lunch --- imagine that.
  16. Yep, I checked. 40 meters was still up during the "communications shutdown". Big deal!
  17. The last time I checked (about a year ago), unless you're buying components in bulk and getting great deals, it's cheaper to buy 12 gauge field and target loads than to reload them. I've been reloading for 30 years and I can't beat $5 a box at Sportsman's Warehouse. I could beat it 30 years ago, but the cost of components has gone up while the cost of loaded ammo has stayed pretty constant. Where I CAN save money is in reloading .410's - they're $12 a box and up. The height of the brass on the hulls has nothing to do with the strength or reloadability of the hulls. Winchester AA and Remington STS hulls are the easiest to reload, other brands less so.

    worst rifle ever!

    The Jezail
  19. The NAA mini revolver in .22 mag is a fine little pistol. I've carried one for years.
  20. I have one and really like it. I can carry a whole library around with me.
  21. Subject for another thread, but I'll bet I can get off two shots before you get your slide racked.
  22. Great choice. I prefer the Big Dot night sights I have on my SIG. I believe I get faster target acquisition with them.
  23. I got that recommendation with my DPMS also, and I ignored it. Life's too short, rifles too plentiful.
  24. The Executive branch can and will ignore demands from the other branches when it feels it's in the best interests of the country, the President or the party. It's one of the reasons why we have elections every 4 years. Andrew Jackson said, referring to Chief Justice Marshall, "John Marshall has made his ruling, now let him enforce it."
  25. 9. The mag springs will outlive you. 10. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
