  1. They ain't bumblebees. Bumblebees don't drill 3/8" diameter holes in my deck and fence.
  2. I got 5 of them today. One was hit so solid that he was blown backwards 5 ft and landed in the dog's water bowl. Using .38's with ground walnut hull 'shot'.
  3. An 18 inch cylinder-bored barrel is excellent for pheasant in heavy cover. But, in general, it's not a hunting barrel -- too much spread at normal distances.

    Go Preds!!

    Go Wings!
  5. In 1972 or 73 there was an escaped convict rapist prowling around Augusta Ga. The local police and sheriff urged women to carry a gun, no permit required. We were notified that there would be no prosecutions for carrying a gun as long as the louse was free.
  6. I have the Hogues on mine and like them.
  7. That works -- thanks!
  8. I met Ermey at Pendleton.
  9. I could't find a button to search for new posts on the mobile website, so I'm using the full site clumsily on my tablet. Did I miss something?

    Masters

When I saw the picture of Bubba in his green jacket, my first thought was "Happy Gilmore won the Masters??" Not a golfer or golf fan, but was sitting in a motel room with nothing else to do. Saw the double eagle but missed the hook shot.
  11. Fiocchi Extrema HP's, among others, both penetrate and expand. The test data is on S&W. Go there and search for it.
  12. I'd bet that you weren't. :-) Sent from my MZ604 using Tapatalk
  13. Ah, another Ft. Polk grad! I was there in '71. Sent from my MZ604 using Tapatalk
  14. No, they're not bumblebees. Bumblebees don't drill 3/8" holes in my deck! Sent from my MZ604 using Tapatalk
  15. I'm too independent & outspoken to be a good soldier. If it hadn't been for ignorant non-coms & officers, I might have enjoyed the experience. No offense intended, but the smart ones were few and far between. For every Petraeus there's 1000 Custers. Sent from my MZ604 using Tapatalk
  16. 'Tain't funny 'tall. I've kilt 6 bee so far.
  17. Fiocchi Extrema penetrates at least 12 inches and expands. If you google it, you'll find the data.
  18. My first, and last, choice for any outdoor activity would be a revolver. I'm comfortable with them and they're mechanically simpler than a semi-auto - fewer things that can go wrong. For a hike I'd carry a 4" .357 with heavy, hard-cast lead projectiles, concealed but very close-at-hand. YMMV.
  19. [Emily Litella] Nevermind!! [/Emily Litella]
  20. Welcome! Most of the members are great, but watch out for that TGO David guy.
  21. For one thing, not many people can afford to practice with Cor-Bon ammo. Because I can afford to shoot WWB for practice doesn't mean that it's a good idea to carry WWB -- it's not. We all just do the best we can . . .
  22. I'd bet adding Crimson Trace grips is cost-competive with having a smith install fiber optic sights.
  23. I carry Fiocchi Extrema hollowpoints. Good penetration AND they expand -- not easy to do with .380.
  24. Give me your address --- I'll mail ya some!
  25. . . . and now an EYEWITNESS has shown up, and his story is different. http://www.wnd.com/2012/03/witness-trayvon-martin-attacked-zimmerman/
