  1. My walnut shell rounds do more than stun them! ;)
  2. The front sight is the important one for defensive ranges.  Be happy you can see it.  :D   I put laser grips on my carry gun due to dim (mer) vision.  I'm wondering how much recoil I can stand now that I have tendinitis in my shoulder.  Getting old sucks, but really they're all just minor annoyances.
  3. Either my skill in recent years or the weather has kept the bee population down around here this year.  I've trapped and sprayed more than I've shot.  I even got 2 or 3 with a tennis racket during the mating season while they were 'pre-occupied'.
  4. Live long and prosper!
  5. Welcome!             New guy buys the beer!!
  6. Audubon publishes at least 2 tree identification guides, for eastern and western trees.  I have the eastern one.   Edited to add - I find hickory to have a very strong smoke aroma.  It's probably similar to mesquite.
  7. "Jim, his brain is missing!!!"

  9.   That's why it's available.  Van Horn TX is a garden spot, sorta.
  10. The mountains are already occupied. Try west Texas.
  11. Very pretty BUT         does it cut?  :hiding:
  12.   I was told this same thing by an Augusta GA police officer.  If you shoot them on your doorstep, or if they fall out the door, drag them in before calling.
  13. I repaired a cracked M1 carbine stock with Elmer's glue. 30 years later you still can't see the repair.

    Just A Rant

Agree with the original poster.   A veteran died today.
  15. I bought my 66-1 for $300 less than 10 years ago. Think about it . . .
  16. Yeah, that's how Democracy works. Stuff sh** down people's throats.
  17. Yep. I've heard of Prince, but not Chyna.
  18. Pandering.
  19. Mineral spirits on a rag.
  20. I like eatin' trout.  Don't care how they're caught.  :D
  21. Bees have been quiet so far this spring, most likely due to the cool weather. Hit a few (with a tennis racket) during their mating dance & caught one in a trap. No attempts to nest yet and no shots fired. My shoulder hurts too much for that tennis racket method!
  22. Californians love them. Their whole state is run off of someone else's power.
  23. If you're going to toss them, toss them in my direction.
