If he's in my garage, the alarm is sounding and the deputies are on the way (sooner or later).  My house isn't a fortress, and I'm not willing to make it one.  I've tried hard all my life to not live behind bars and am unwilling to volunteer for it.

I'm not insensitive, but the article apparently called the incident an 'accident'.  If the gun and ammo aren't defective, then I'd conclude that the handler was.  I suspect negligence at best and suicide at worst.   I'm tired of guns being blamed for people's actions.

The subjective ratings that the various brands receive are all hearsay and not the result of actual ownership, side-by-side comparison, etc.  Who knows anyone who actually wore out an AR?   But if you wear tactical sunglasses and have a TV show, your opinion counts extra.   Just my opinion.  No sunglasses, no camera.  :D
