  1. I run two Linksys WRT54G's in my hamshack.  No problems.
  2. Stevie Wonder is still alive?????     The things you learn on the interwebz . . . .
  3. I bought hunting loads at Sportsman's Warehouse for $5 a box a few years back.  At that time, I couldn't have loaded them for that low a cost.
  4.   I get your point - you can choose to shoot a dog but a cop can't.  Cops go on to private property in the line of duty,
  5. Nope, I'm not going to allow any dog to bite me if I have a choice.  I don't expect anyone else to volunteer either.
  6.     Fixed it for you.
  7. Ramsey is a fool, and he thinks we are fools also.
  8. IF the officer's duties require him to be in a specific location, and IF, in that location, somebody's unrestrained pet dog is acting aggressively towards the officer, the dog is likely to get shot.  Any dog will protect its family.  Any dog will bite.   Put yourself in that situation.  What would you do?
  9. The old Ford 4.9L in-line 6 couldn't economically meet evolving government-mandated fuel economy and emission standards.  It was a great engine, but inefficient.   In-line engines present packaging problems underhood.  They require a longer engine compartment (an in-line 6 is as long as a V-12), and have no practical advantage over a V-6, which is easier to package.
  10. I can beans and corn.  Tomatoes are equally good canned or frozen, but I usually have the freezers crammed with beef.
  11. Just bought some La Gloria Cubana Serie N.  I've smoked them before and found them excellent.
  12. I downloaded that critter and am on my way to marking libraries, schools, churches, post offices, etc.  The more data, the better.
  13.   Whatever peels yer banana.

    GOT BRAINS!?

His friend couldn't breathe!    :D   I had a moment like that when I tried (tried!) to jump my Volkswagen beetle off a ramp in Georgia.  I mashed the front bumper into the sheet metal, and my so-called friend told the story at the next Dale Carnegie class and couldn't breathe during it.  He won a prize.
  15. I buy lead semi-wadcutters from Missouri Bullet.

    Snake guns

Cottonmouth diamond-back copperhead king cobra fish-eatin' ZOMBIE snake!   If it's a pest to you, kill it.  (But don't tell us about it).  :D
  17. What they'll do is put the Guard soldiers in situations where they have to defend themselves, and then prosecute them for defending themselves.
  18. I'm with you - I don't have to go through Chicago to get anywhere.
  19. In general it's a bad idea, IMO.
  20. Now THAT is a FrankenFal.  :D

Garden spiders are the equivalent of Zombies.

AND -- you don't have to get as close to the nasty buggers.  A shotgun blast is much more satisfying.  I shoot carpenter bees - why shouldn't I shoot poisonous snakes too?
  23. I bought samplers from Thompson and Cigars International until I found a few brands that I really liked and could afford.  Now, when I'm running low (which means that one of my small humidors has room for 10-20 more cigars), I shop for the brands/sizes I like on Cigarbid.com.   There aren't any cigar shops within 50 miles of me.   PS - a travel humidor is a good thing to have.  Look up "Herfador".
