  1. I use a homemade repeater bridge with my Foscam wireless IP camera and my home wireless network.  The camera will be mounted above the garage door, and the repeater bridge is inside the garage.  If you don't have a spare DDWRT router lying around, a $40 repeater from Wal-mart would be attractive.  I'll warn you that, if you're on Hughes satellite internet, a Foscam IP camera can't be seen from the internet.  D-Link has figured it out, but not Foscam.
  2. Ticket prices had already banned me.
  3. I also make jerky in my dehydrator.  Don't know what trouble the Duck Commander boys had, but mine always comes out good.  I eat it until my teeth hurt.
  4.   They're doggie treats.
  5. I dry half-inch thick slices of sweet potato in my dehydrator in 12-14 hours.  I run it at 165 degrees.  I've never tried peppers, but I have sun-dried them on an old window screen.  Sun-drying worked fine.
  6. No boxes, and condition is well-carried in a pocket or vest.  No museum specimens - just interesting old shells.  Some of them are the old, 2-1/2 inch length, the rest are 2-3/4.   I don't care to buy a book and research their value - I'd probably lose money.  :D
  7. Does anyone collect or know about collectible shotshells?  I have around thirty, Remington and Winchester, 16 and 20 gauge unfired paper shells that I'd like to pass on to someone, but I don't know anything about their value.

    Jerkey

Somebody was selling jerky at the Sweetwater Flea Market.
  9.   I always carried in Lowes when shopping there on my days off.  I was just another customer on those days, and concealed means concealed.  Their rules didn't apply to me when I wasn't on the clock.
  10. The store closes at 10 pm, this apparently happened around 11.  I don't think Lowe's will post their stores - lose too many customers that way.  Only the employees are prohibited from carrying or even having a firearm in their car in the parking lot.  Some employees don't obey those rules.
  11. 240 air conditioning?
  12. Tort lawyers?  (Didn't watch the video - just guessing).
  13. I think that every time an official throws a flag, a deputy should step onto the field and serve a criminal warrant on the offending player.   It's football for crying out loud!   We're turning into a nation of old women . . . . .
  14. I've never understood the hatred for Universal carbines.  No, they're not military carbines.  No, they don't have parts interchangeable with military carbines outside of magazines.  I've had mine nearly 40 years and it is accurate, has always gone bang, never jammed, never broken, never committed a crime nor impregnated my dog.   If you just want a shooter, Universals are fine, regardless of what the purists say.   No, you can't buy parts for it.  There are a lot of discontinued guns that you can't buy parts for.  Try buying a barrel for a S&W K-frame built 20 years ago.
  15. You can have my slot.  I buy my jerky in Sweetwater.
  16. For one thing, dropping dead trees is a little more complicated than dropping live ones, but only if you care where it falls.   I can't give away wood here unless I cut it to length and haul it to the road.  Lazy trumps cold and poor.
  17. Where in Ontario?  My son lives in Barrie.
  18. T'ain't necessarily so. Most .380's are blowback action and have stiffer springs than larger caliber recoil-operated, locked slide pistols. That, combined with the pistol size, makes an NAA Guardian harder to rack for me than a 1911.
  19. If you can train a woman in anything, you're my hero.
  20. I've loaded the Federal paper hulls and they were great. I loaded all of my ribbed Remington hulls and gave them to my kids for Christmas, told them to NOT pick up and save the hulls for me - I'm done with them. Winchester AA only for me. I bought 1000 AA hulls from a skeet range years ago and still have a lot left. Most can be reloaded 4 times.
  21. Using the brand of hull specified in the loading manual is important. Load data for a Federal hull may overfill a Winchester or underfill a Remington. Use the hull, wad, powder and shot specified and you should get beautiful crimps.
  22. The last few calves I've bought were butchered at 700-1200 lbs.  You get bigger and better steaks out of the bigger steers.  Beef from the smaller ones is good, but there's no fat.
  23. I have a Ruger GSR, but just got it a couple weeks ago and have only sighted it in. I like it so far. It was the Mauser action that sold me vs the Rem 700. I like Mausers!
  24. Mr. Fusion for me.  Already saving coffee grounds.
  25. Glocks are better than Apples.  Every time someone buys an Apple, an angel loses his wings.  Steve Jobs ate puppies.
