1.   Everywhere outside the big cities, i.e. everywhere the immigrants are outnumbered by the natives.   This isn't unique to Tennessee.

Tornado watches

"Damnyankee" is one word. :) Tornadoes are a lot less predictable than hurricanes and shorter lived. There's not much preparation you can do with 0 to 3 minutes warning. We, if we're smart, have basic precautions already in place - such as a good place to take cover, stored food and water, a well-maintained generator, alternate means of communication, and a meeting place for the family if separated. Then we pay attention to developing weather.
3. Popcorn made, feet up! Let 'er rip!
4. My .38 loads will always knock one down, and a solid hit will dissect one.
5. Yup, that's a .38 M&P, 1st Model.  This was the first S&W hand-ejector in .38 Special.  The serial number is the key to identifying it.
6. It looks to me like it has a 2 inch sight radius. What am I missing?
7. Revolver here
8. 4 inch S&W Model 66.
9. Sometimes I sound like a salesman for Kramer Leather, but . . .    Their horsehide holsters, IWB included, will NOT collapse after you draw your pistol.
10. For around $40 you can get a Boker at BladeHQ.
11. I've shot 14 so far.  It's a lot more fun than bug spray.
12. So sorry!   When you can, how about telling us all about Max?
13. Whew!  Spared again!   By the way, you did pretty good.  You got 2 of the 6 on my ignore list.

I have a couple of Picketts myself. All of my calculators died, but the cursor slides on!

Club comparison

Call or email the club president and tell him your situation.  He's a nice guy.
16.   Card stock.  I cut the overpowder wad with a 5/16 gasket punch and the overshot wad with a 3/8 gasket punch.  Press 'em in with the dull end of  a pencil.

Other hobby

I did some gardening in a raised bed for a couple of years, and then the Amish bought an old farm a mile south of me and they run a vegetable stand all summer.  I let them do the work now!

Club comparison

The Athens gun club has 2 pistol ranges, skeet, archery and rifle.  Rifle ranges are 50,100, 150, 200 as I recall.  They don't have any organized matches at the present time but several people in the club are very interested in getting some matches going.   The violent crime rate here is nothing compared to Chattanooga or Knoxville.  The favorite pastime around here (among certain folks) is cooking meth.
19. Grits for me!

Other hobby

I've gardened a lot, but have given up on it at my current location.  All I need to be successful here is soil and rain.  Don't have the first and the second is unpredictable.
21. In .38 Special, I use 2 grains of Bullseye, overpowder wad, fill with walnut grit, overshot wad. Not a recommendation for anyone else, just info.
22. I'm in favor of sidearms and ammo being issued to NCO's and officers.
23. I got 4 today.  :pleased:   edit - make that 5.

25. People do kill people and the only way to stop that is by killing them first. To a utopian this is a moral paradox that invalidates everything that came before it, but to everyone else, it's just life in a world where evil is a reality, not just a word.   http://freedomoutpost.com/2014/04/armed-society-spends-time-stopping-evil-contemplating/#Owc6J3jpveMXIGy7.99
