  1. Not necessarily going to change, just not going to worry about what I have on me or in my truck is legal.  Some knives will leave the safe!
  2. A pair of machetes . . . . in a shoulder holster, of course.
  3. Just takes a few minutes to take off, no tools required. The deck wheels rotate 90 degrees and lock, so once the deck is detached, it rolls out from under the tractor. I took it off for a bush hogging job, haven't put it back on yet
  4.   It's a 2305, and it was $13,500.
  5. Not a bad looking tractor to be 8 years old. But then, it only has 22 hours on it. Craigslist is our friend!
  6. Pickles yesterday, beans sometime this week.
  7. How long until someone gets butthurt, picks up his marbles and goes home?
  8. I always figured Matt was gay.
  9. One of the all-black spear points has been sitting in my safe, waiting for July.
  10. Shoot, I though we wuz in America?
  11. All Dickel is good to me.  JD is too expensive to mix and too poor to drink straight.
  12. I had a Scag lock up like that once  - the carb needle valve stuck and filled the cylinders with gas.  Hope yours is no more serious than that.
  13.   To each his own.   What gives you the moral standing to criticize someone else's hobby?  Who made you the arbiter of taste?
  14. I'm frequently confused, but I read recently that there were no cougars in Florida.  Guess it was a half-truth, since there ARE big cats in Florida.  I'd never heard of the Florida panther.
  15. Officially there aren't any cats in Florida, but I've see prints as big as ashtrays in the beach sand at Tyndall AFB in the panhandle.   They're everywhere!
  16.   Ditto - the light doesn't affect coons.  The load of birdshot gets their attention.
  17. I'll be using a live trap ONLY to avoid getting up in the middle of the nite to shoot coons.  With a live trap, I can shoot them in the morning after my first cup of coffee.  :D
  18. Did you try a live trap?  Bait it with canned cat food and you'll definitely catch some kind of quail predator.   I've been getting up in the middle of the night to shoot them too, and getting tired of it too.  I see a live trap in my future.
  19. What are May apples good for?  I have them by the hundreds on my property.
  20. EVERYTHING is for sale at the right price.  EVERYTHING!   Anything you could ever want can be bought.  You just need to meet with the right person with the right currency in hand.
  21. Michigan "Permanent" trailer plates are only "permanent" until the trailer is sold.  Voice of experience!   I sold a boat and trailer and wasn't allowed to transfer the "permanent" trailer plate to a new cargo trailer.   The "permanent" plate is no longer valid if the trailer is sold out-of-state.
  22. I have some thornless blackberry bushes set out, and will have some berries this year.  I was all set to have a bumper crop last year but something, maybe WAY too much rain, nearly killed the plants when they were full of green berries.
  23. In reality, the meaning of 'arms' is whatever a lawyer can convince a jury it means.
  24.   Put some on and come sit outside my back yard fence, in the shady area.  I can guarantee chiggers.
