  1.   You have to do your own brake jobs also, until you need help getting up off the garage floor.
  2. Consider this:   Ford Motor Company lubrication engineers control the ingredients in Motorcraft oil, the only recommended oil for Ford engines.  Motorcraft oil is a synthetic blend.   I believe Ford's recommended change interval is 5k miles, but that may have changed.  They don't tell me anymore.
  3. Well, there is that . . . .
  4. I ain't never got no stars, nohow.   Nobody loves me . . . . . :drama:
  5.   Aim for the head or legs.   Using the same logic, Bloomberg is trying to take our guns by spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt).
  6. I was quoting from the website.  thanks for the kind words.
  7. http://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2014/08/landslide-victory-first-step-to-gun-control-nullification-in-missouri/   Two similar bills HB2145 and SB1607 have been introduced to nullify federal gun control within the state of Tennessee. The legislation prohibits the state from enforcing “any federal act, law, order, rule or regulation that relates to a personal firearm, firearm accessory or ammunition within the limits of this state.” STATUS:  HB2145 assigned to Civil Justice Subcommittee on Feb. 04th and will need to be passed by a majority vote of the committee to be sent to the full house for a vote. STATUS:  SB1607 has assigned to the Senate Judiciary Committee and needs to also be approved by a majority of the committee members to be sent to the Senate for a vote.
  8. I'm always aware of the ta-tas.
  9. Beats me why restarting the monitor cures your problem, BUT --- monitors do go bad.  I used an Acer monitor for about 6 years and it eventually failed.  It developed a shadow on all text that made it unreadable and gave me a headache.   Yours may be failing.  I'd try swapping in another monitor, if you have one.
  10. I thought #6 was "Always carry 2 knives".   I'm lost.
  11. Every time I get to talking to a new guy, he gets killed.  I'm not talking to them any more.
  12. "You have the RIGHT to remain silent"   This applies in all situations.
  13. Groundclear, 1 qt to a gallon of water, spray as needed.
  14. Not all 2-strokes are the same.  My Stihl saw and blower,  and Shindaiwa trimmer start just fine.  I've had other brands that didn't start good when new, and then got worse.
  15. I tweeted about it, so I've done my part.  Now where's my beer . . . .
  16. No dynamite handy, huh?
  17. It's apparently a mesh node interfaced to a cell phone. I have two home-made mesh nodes sitting on the table behind me - re-purposed WIFI routers. Mine are not interfaced to cell phones. These devices are most likely Ghz-range, line-of-sight devices. 10 miles if one or both is on a hill top. PS - my nodes cost about $30 each - the price of a used WRT54G router on Ebay.
  18. I remember one of those:   Customer - "I need some well pump wire"   Me - "What gauge?"   Customer - "I don't know"   Me - "I don't know either.  How many horsepower?"   Customer - "I don't know"   Me - "I don't know either.  How deep is your well?"   Customer - "I don't know".   Me - "I don't know either".   Damn!
  19. If the stock is properly finished, varnish (ugh) or oil, it won't need any conditioner.  Wipe down all steel surfaces with an oily rag, followed by a dry rag.  Hot soapy water (dish soap is fine) to clean the bore.  Really hot water!   It's called a ramrod, not a bore rod.   I've never removed a hammer to clean a rifle.   I'll leave other comments to someone who's fired a B/P rifle more recently than me.
  20. I gave them their chance, now I'll just badmouth them in public.  :D
  21. I couldn't get them to replace a defective file on my Surge.  Not broken, but bad out of the package.  Guess it depends on who you talk to, but it shouldn't.
  22.   You beat me to it.  She looks like she needs a series of good meals.  Don't care for bony women.
