I doubt that the DOD can manage 20 million new ID's, but if they do, it'll be my very first veteran benefit. I've never qualified for one before. The gubmint makes sure that not all veterans are treated the same. It creates discord and keeps the vets from joining together and marching on Washington again. :D

How about building a kit muzzleloader? I've done a lot of gunsmithin' stuff building kits.

Finding quality .22 rimfire ammo IS a problem. Revolvers don't have restrike problems.

I wouldn't recommend a .22 rimfire semiauto for defensive carry. No restrike capability. A revolver in .22 is much preferable. JMHO.

Effective self-defense loads in even .38 Special are kind of 'snappy' in a small carry revolver. In a K-frame Smith, they're much more pleasant, but the K-frame is not an easily-concealed pistol. Maybe a .327 Mag? I've never shot one, but I'm sure somebody on here has. Maybe the solution is for her to carry lower-power ammo.

I don't understand it, but I do appreciate it, when companies, actors and 'artists' choose to come out of the closet and cut their income in half. If Kmart had told me up-front that they would eventually piss me off so bad that I'd refuse to shop there, it would have saved me a lot of grief. I never liked Matt Damon anyway.
