  That's the thing I dislike most about heat pumps.  I'm not comfortable having 70 degree air blowing on me when I'm trying to heat the house.  A gas furnace blows much hotter air and is more comfortable to me.  That's why I love standing in front of my gas logs!

  That doesn't sound like the heat pump or thermostat is operating correctly - you might want to have it checked.  You could turn off the breaker to the heat strip.  My 60 amp (!) breaker is off until the gas logs quit.

Keurig is great for a quick cuppa - beats instant coffee hands down.  Plus it makes tea or hot chocolate.   But, I'm old fashioned I guess - I prefer fresh-ground Colombian from a drip or percolator pot.    Turkish coffee is one of my favorites, but it's a bit time-consuming to make.

I may tell Google no thanks when it wants to upgrade my Nexus 7.  I've read that it's not an improvement on the 2012 Nexus 7, the fault being with the tablet.   By the way, I charge my flip phone once a week.  Neener neener!

In Boston, when the light turns green, the cars waiting to turn left GO FIRST!  Scared the crap out of me - I'm accustomed to waiting until the oncoming traffic clears.  Not in Boston -- if you wait, you better have packed a lunch.  And earmuffs.   I was riding with my Dad driving the first time I had fun on ice - we were headed home and then, suddenly, we were headed away from home.  He refused to do it again.

AFAIK, 'any other draftsman" could modify your plans, but he'd have to re-create the original CAD files that the pdfs were made from.  I'd investigate marking up your files and having the original architect make the changes.

I've been using Tracfone for years.  My wife recently dropped Verizon and went with Tracfone also.  No complaints about the coverage, and we travel a lot.

My recipe pretty much duplicates Carroll Shelby's.  You can't go wrong with a packet of his fixins.

I think it needs more representation from the conferences.   5 conference winners plus 3 at-large teams would be ideal for me.  The old, subjective BCS system was replaced with a new,  subjective playoff system.  Too much power in the hands of the selection committee, not enough power in the hands of the teams/players.   Who's to say that an unbeaten SEC team is better than a 2-loss Big 12 team, unless you play the game?
