  1. Got 5 today, but all singles. They love to come out when it's hot and sunny.
  2. I got a senior, permanent hunting and fishing license for $11. Hard to figure that the CHL is that more valuable. Bad idea.
  3. I got two bees last week, or one sure and a probable.   Neither one was Boone & Crockett material.  Anyone else have any luck?   I also hung out my bee trap for the ones who visit the deck while I'm patrolling the fence line.
  4. Welcome! I've been thru Springfield in my travels.

    Helmet Law

I didn't say anything about anybody forcing anybody to do anything.  Do as you please- I'm not responsible for you.

    Helmet Law

If you're not free to do something stupid, you're not free at all. However, you can't expect your neighbors to accept that you do stupid things and not try to change your behavior. If you insist on riding without a helmet then, law be damned, do it. Be an outlaw! Just don't insist that everyone agree with you.
  7. Looks like prices are headed in the right direction. They haven't made into my range yet.
  8.   If so, you're missing the same thing I am.  Why carry a .380 that's the same size as a 9mm, .40 or .45?   It's akin to carrying a pocket pistol on your hip.  WHY?  Carry a big-caliber, easy to shoot gun on your hip and put your pocket pistol in your pocket!
  9. Parts of me are pretty round.
  10.   There are also  . . . .   MASON bees!     Look it up - they wear little aprons and meet in buildings without windows.
  11.   Carpenter bees don't make honey:  they make 1/2 inch holes in your barn, deck or fence, sawdust and baby bees.  That's all!   I have many friends among the local honey bees.
  12.   A fellow (whose screen name escapes me right now) performs his own gelatin tests and reports the results on the Smith & Wesson forum.  If you go there and search for gel testing, you'll probably find him.  He has tested and reported on a lot of .380 rounds.  I bought a bunch of Fiocchi Extrema .380 hollowpoints when they first came out, based on his testing.  The price was REALLY good ($20/50 rounds) then, but the box size has come down and the price gone up since then.
  13. We already have both expanding and non-expanding .380 ammo with at least 12 inches of penetration.
  14. West Virginia just sent Constitutional Carry legislation to the Governor with a veto-proof majority.
  15. I wouldn't share a Dropbox account with anyone outside my immediate family.  Email or snailmail them.   If that's not good enough, I'd set up a one-use account on a public FTP server like DriveHQ, upload the files, give the account info to the attorrney, confirm the download and then delete the account.
  16.   No, mine's an Inspiron 5150.  They're notorious.
  17. Try making your overshot wad bigger than the caliber (I use 3/8").  They'll grip the sides of the case and stay in place better.  I push them in by hand with a dowel/pencil/pen/whatevershandy.
  18. Model  - pick 'em. Brand - Toshiba Satellite     I have a 15 year old Dell still running, but on Puppy Linux, and a 11 year old HP still running (Win 7).     The Dell that I bought between these two crapped out.  It has intolerable overheating problems and Dell should never have produced it.     My wife's Toshiba is an impressive machine.  I bought an ASUS for myself last time, wish I had sprung for a Toshiba but I bought based on price.
  19. Rev. Stacy Groscup could shoot aspirin out of the air with an arrow. Bees are bigger . . .
  20. The farther north of Gaylord MI you get, the better your chances are of seeing the lights.
  21. You removed the bee bait?  How will you get your bag limit?
  22. I've seen them before while camping in the U.P. Not uncommon there. I don't stay up that late any more.
  23. No, the Lee loader will load full rounds - deprime, prime, drop powder, seat bullet. It's not fast and it only neck-sizes bottleneck cases. It's slow, low tech and cheap. A hand primer only primes cases, and one costs more than a Lee Loader.
  24. Just a mallet to drive out the old primer and to seat a new one. Oh, and you'll need a small powder dipper. I use 2 grains of powder and meter it by volume in an adjustable measure. Lee also makes a set of powder dippers, or you can make your own.
