Hmmm - #1 buck, 16 .30 caliber balls per shot, 5 inch spread at 15 feet. Probably 12 -16" penetration per pellet. What's not to love? I could probably hit something vital with that much firepower. Plus, my shotgun will slamfire 8 rounds. That's 110 pellets headed downrange in ~10 seconds.

Linux Mint with the Mate desktop is my recommendation. I have the same laptop but have Win 7 on it at the moment. Mint is based on Ubuntu, but works better IMO. I have Mint on my two desktops.

Always compare things based on price and buy the most expensive.  You can't go wrong.  Millions of Ipad/Iphone users agree.  :D

The pistol grip shotguns, at least in 12 gauge, are hard to control after the 1st shot.  I get followup shots off much quicker with a full stock.  #4 Buck is good, and I've read that #1 is better for penetration, but it's harder to find.   I'm only gonna clear the room I'm in.  The cops can do the rest.

It's the same citizens who keep electing the same lawmakers. I pity the fools - they make their own mess.

The officer could be fired as a result of his actions. If so, only he can judge whether it was worth it.

Having difficulty seeing how intentionally running over someone fits into the escalation-of-force continuum. I think it was a mite over the top and reckless.

I had a similar experience with a bank I had used for 30 years.  I got stood up for a loan officer appointment, had to leave for another appointment.  When I came back, I closed my account and haven't looked back.

  I worked at Lowes after retiring.  I know about the customers, their opinion of "Lowes idiots", and the some of the Lowes employees' opinions of the customers.  There were idiots on both sides.   edited to add:  And not a few assholes too.  :D

When you have 99 weeks of unemployment, welfare and Mom's basement to fall back on, why try? Where's the incentive to work hard and improve your life? If I get poor service in a business, I don't go back. There should be an appropriate result from bad service and good service and I try to provide it. There are a couple of 'big box' stores that I haven't shopped at in 20 years. They no longer have anything that I need. When they go thru bankruptcy, I'll light a cigar.

H-P makes one, have one in my wife's car. Starts automatically with the engine, records HD continously to a micro sd card, overwrites the oldest video when the card is full. Also records time and gps location on the video.

Just pitiful.  Stroh's Brewery tours in Detroit were free.  And, you could skip the tour and just spend the time in the tap room.  :D   I went regularly, saw the plant once.   Stroh's has gone out of business but it wasn't my fault.

  I think it was the perpetual 'out of stock' label at the wholesalers.  They never made enough of them to sell.

  Yep, it's the wrong frame, wrong barrel length.  Looks like they were aiming for target shooters, not concealed carry.

I was interested a few years ago, but thanks to the unavailability of revolvers chambered in .327, I'm over it now.
