You can't trust anything you see or hear or read on the internet. Or (almost) anywhere else, for that matter. This is a P.T. Barnum-type scam.

But they can't do this on 2 lane roads.

My truck doesn't have BT built in, but my Garmin GPS does and it links to my phone. IMO, the law is unenforceable. Speeding and crossing over the centerline are much more obvious, but if there's no cop to see it, did it really happen?

GPS (with additional local signals) is wonderful when you're drilling seed in a field or spraying and you can't visually tell where you've been. Www.ravenprecision.com.

Which is only slightly more difficult than teaching a cat to tap-dance.

Tennessee ordered to stop license suspensions for indigence

Let's just garnish their wages or disability/SS checks until the fines are paid. -
Toyota makes good cars, but they aren't trouble -free. Toyota benefits from biased media who gleefully report problems and recalls on American cars, but not for Toyota and some other makes. Toyota, Honda, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, Volvo, etc all have quality problems and recalls. You just don't hear about it - you have to dig for the data. I don't see Chrysler surviving in the long run. Dodge trucks and Jeep will survive, but not Chrysler Corp. I spent 29 years in the auto industry.

Rifle is SPF sold for $500. It is a C series, and my research says that it was made in the late '70's, I've owned it about 35 years. Thanks for all the help!

National Preparedness Month - Are you prepared?

I got tired of putting up with multi-day blackouts and had a 17KW, natural gas automatic standby generator installed last spring. -
National Preparedness Month - Are you prepared?
enfield replied to Ronald_55's topic in General Chat
Ain't that the truth! And, after getting caught unprepared during an event, they'll be just as unprepared for the next event. No, I don't loan generators. -
I'm interested in opinions, learned or otherwise, on the real-life value of a Savage 24V in .222 Remington over 20 gauge. I see what they're asking on the web, but actual sale prices are what I'm looking for. It's a used gun, some scratches on the stock but both bores are perfect. 3X9 Bushnell scope mounted on it. I have a friend who wants to buy it, but I've owned it so long I don't even remember what I paid for it.

I feed 'em year round in my back yard. Better not shoot MY doves!
-
GOATS: They don't eat grass - they're browsers like deer,. They like weeds, flowers, tomato plants, briars, leaves, bark, kudzu, etc. You'll have to mow their pasture! They will eat hay and commercial feed. They need a rain shelter, as they detest getting wet ( a carport with tarps for windscreens works well). If you get an intact billy, you'll need to keep him penned separate from the does or he'll run them ragged.

Levi Strauss Joins In Anti-Gun Nonsense

Ditto - I've been boycotting them for many years. Cabela's sells great jeans at a reasonable price. -
Alinco also makes a fine dual band HT, and it's cheaper than Yaesu. You may find the world of FM/digital HT's and repeaters to be pretty limiting. HF is a lot more interesting to me.

Blink cameras are wireless, battery operated, work with satellite internet and deliver video clips to cell phones. It's an Amazon brand.

My Covert Auto is stamped "Made in USA Portland OR" I have no complaints about the quality after 6 months.

Just put in a duplex breaker. Still leaves you one 20A connection on the other half of the duplex. IANAE. (either)

I said to put a a TSA lock on the bag, not the gun case. Reading comprehension matters. TSA will do as they please.
-
You can find tips for packing a handgun and ammo, and the procedure for checking the bag online. Don't forget to put a TSA lock on your bag or TSA will cut your lock off when they inspect the handgun. You won't get an opportunity to unlock it for them.

I've done it, it was uneventful. You can find the concealed carry laws for Washington online. I'm told they have an attraction called Mt. Rainier in Washington, but it rained the entire time I was there, so I didn't see it.

Yeah, I spent 33 years in Michigan. Just as bad.
