I've had my own reloads fail to fire, probably due to bad primers. I've had factory target ammo fail to fire and to come apart in my pocket. I've never had any problem with premium carry ammo from Winchester, Remington and Federal. That's why I carry the expensive stuff - my life is worth it.

Apropos of nothing, once upon a time I visited a Gander Mountain and bought two used 12 gauge shotguns off the rack.  An Ithaca M37 DSPS, (nickle-plated, 8 shot and slamfire capability) and a Browning BPS.  Both for $600, $250 and $350 respectively.  Never had a better trip to a gun shop.  :D

I agree. To me, the Ithaca is a nearly perfect pump gun, and the Browning BPS is the perfect pump gun.
