By preference and hard experience, battles are fought with long guns. Handguns are a secondary, but convenient, weapon. Doc Holliday had time to choose and carried a shotgun to the "OK Corral" fight. He was hell on wheels with a handgun, but chose a shotgun. I'd like to be able to choose also.

Try a FRAM oil filter.  It cured the same problem on my old Ranger.  Oil was draining out of the lifters overnite, and the FRAM filter seemed to have a better check valve in it that stopped, or at least slowed, the drainback and cured the problem.
