  1. I backordered some Fiocchi Extrema .380 90gr XTPHP from Cabela's, expect it in April. $24 for 50 rds, nickel-cased carry ammo. Made in the US.

  3. We'll Remember in November! Never re-elect anyone - serving in Congress should be an honor, not a career.
  4. Yes, yes, no. You swap bushings to get the weight of shot and powder you want, within the tolerances of the bushing. The universal charge bar, being adjustable, can dial in any weight you want but it's slower than swapping bushings. If you record the settings for various loads you can return to the settings quicker, but you'll still have to fine tune by dropping and weighing.

    2010 Census

All I've ever told them, since 1980, is the number of people at my address. They don't need anything more to fulfill the Constitutional purpose of the census. I ain't in jail yet.
  7. iolo System Mechanic costs $20 at Wal-Mart and it works like a charm. I was re-installing Windows on my wife's laptop at least once a year, but last fall I risked the money and I won.
  8. Normal wear for RRA, maybe. I think they may have a hardness problem, whether they recognize/admit it or not. I'd replace the cam with a non-RRA part and see if the wear re-occurs. It's too early to tell if the problem (and there is a problem, IMHO) is with the cam or the carrier. I never saw wear like that on a military M-16, and there's no telling how many thousands of rounds mine went through.

    gun comparison

Looks and sounds like you got a sweet deal. Hope ya like it!
  10. I bought a 12x24 Amish-built shed and had it delivered to my property. I'm tickled with it.
  11. New reloading manuals are a bit expensive but they last a long time. I'd browse thru the available ones first to see if there is data for the caliber/bullet/powder you want to use. Any store that sells reloading supplies should have a good selection. I have Speer, Sierra and Hornady manuals, some nearly 30 years old. I rarely see a used one for sale.
  12. I don't believe you need a permit, just make sure you don't violate any restrictions.
  13. a) your CZ isn't in proper working condition and needs the attention of a gunsmith. It's DANGEROUS! always point the muzzle of your weapon in a safe direction when decocking. Most guns won't fire when decocking, but a defective one will, as will one when the proper procedure isn't used (where's your trigger finger?) SAA Colts and exact replicas, as well as NAA mini-revolvers will fire if your hand slips off the hammer while lowering the hammer over a live round. Point it in a safe direction and use your head. Decocking is dangerous. Lowering the hammer over a live round is dangerous. Chambering ammo in a semi-auto pistol, most rifles and most shotguns is dangerous. Maintain muzzle control at all times.
  14. Time to stop -- he's enjoying the whip!!
  15. Welcome! If you can go to a range that rents handguns, or go with someone and shoot his guns, you'll get a good idea of what you want.
  16. In all the years I've been carrying revolvers and semi-autos without safeties, I've never had an accidental discharge. Modern firearms in good working condition will not fire unless you pull the trigger.
  17. I've replaced a lost filling on myself with a temporary zinc oxide/oil of cloves filling. My dentist was amazed at how well I did.
  18. Yeah, it's wrong. The Left is using race to silence any criticism of the government, and also any others who step out of line. I don't know what Baker did to upset them, but Senator Byrd wouldn't have been criticized for the same act. Being called a racist is becoming a badge of honor to those who oppose the Left. Just my humble opinion and not that of TGO.
  19. The question being answered, this thread is closed.
  20. I recognize the road and area - that's I68 outside of Morgantown WV. They like foreign cars in WV, will need a lot of those ramps renamed.
  21. Considering the Hazmat fee to ship powder and primers, I'd be willing to pay their prices, assuming they have what I want in stock.
  22. Merged with existing thread.
  23. How about some before and after pics? Are you going to use oil or varnish?
  24. My palm tree is still dead.
