  1. Forgive me but I didn't have time to read all of the comments. The LCR trigger doesn't stack like all the other revolvers. So the lbs pull is consistent all the way through to it breaking. The precieved feel is lighter than a stacking trigger. The LCR has the hogue tamer grip with a soft insert, it helps a lot. Better yet, get the non finger grove three inch (LCRX 3inch) hogue tamer grip and put it on the Snubble LCR. The extra length of this grip yields unbelievable comfort shooting. My wife can shoot.38 +P all day with the longer grip. I picked up a 3inch grip at a local place. Apparently hogue released them to retail. LCR or LCRX (exposed hammer) or the LCRX3 are great choices. I sold off my small smiths.
  2. Adam12 and Emergency was the bomb growing up. RIP.

  11. Key West , snorkel/dive Fort Jefferson.
  12. Toys back then prepared us for war.
  13. I was issued a 120mm smooth bore M1A1 and a pistol.
  14. Worst case, i could hold them for you at my adobe.
  15. "It's not a crime to have a large number of weapons so long as they were legal to own and legally obtained. We want to make sure that's the case." So, they will dig him up and charge him?
  16. Not able to get same results with stock sights. I have a hard time without reader glasses to get windage right. Elevation was no problem with stock sights, but windage was rough. The big dot is just that, big. Stock notch and post sights come from rifles. Great for target shooting but not the best for combat shooting. I can see the big dot without looking for it, and line it up without knowing it. For me it is just way faster to aim, or pick it up fast without point shooting or reactionary shooting. At night it is a world of difference compared to lining up three dots. It is amazing how my eyes line two up fast at night. ( Yes I do night fire.) From zero to about 50 feet the dot sits up just like a golf ball on a tee. Mine hits behind the dot, not above. So I have the dots top on the targets top /oval shaped 10 ring line. The round hits the X (dead center) If that makes sense. So basically when my eyes see a complete dot, I cover what I want to hit. If you were close you could test drive my G21 with them. I carry this pistol all day atleast 5 days a week, for the last 11 years. The sights have been on it for several years. I won't go back.
  17. I shoot pop cans 75 yards away with the big dot. My shooting area is 75 yards long. @50 feet I can shoot 4inch groups with my G21 off hand. Your mileage my vary.
  18. But if we drove to Pluto at the speed of light, at night and turned our headlights on. Could we see or would we have to wait for daybreak.

    Xs sights

I have the Big Dot both night sights on my Glock 21, fantastic. Takes a mag to get it in your head where to aim. After that they are as good for target shooting at distance as the regular sights are. Up close shooting out performs stock sights. These work especially good when you get a bit older. I don't so much have to line up sights I can't see, as you just tee up the ball you hit,.
  20. Probably is my favorite German tank, damn. For you tank freaks like myself, play World of Tanks. Free download xbox's or PC.
  21. I have a white friend born in south africa. He is a US citizen now. He calls himself an african American much to the dismay of others.
  22. Ditto the tank bag. I had HCP'd with a lefty holster until i started using a tank bag.  Kinda the fanny pack of the bike world, lol.  Having all your paperwork and DL high and dry ready for the Gestapo is also win.
  23. I have one of these. Its better suited for long hauls on the open road than a KLR. That said, I did portions of the TAT on the KLR but won't do a lot of it  on a Versys. Versys too darn heavy in the gravels mud / slow tech riding.    .....................   Open road with minimum trail riding I didn't mind hard luggage. But once on the trail I hate them, they get in the way of my riding style, (Flat Tracker, Crashing style :)   I was more app'd to short distance, dirt biking with my KLRs because of their light weight.  So the luggage went up for sale. There have been times I wanted it on the Versys but as soon as i am off road, i'm glad I don't have it. I mostly do week/two week rides so the el'cheapo waterproof dufles work great. So do the el'cheapo PVC rain suits as well.
  24. I use water proof duffles from Wally World. I think they are $10. Stack and tie them up. I've destroyed panniers/frames so I am done wasting my money on that.
  25. On a side note. Ben Jones "Cooter" says he won't fold.   So when you are in Gatlinburg stop at Cooters and buy something.   Good for him.
