14 minutes is not real bad of a response time for any county, especially for my county. But anything more than a minute or so is just hurrying for no reason. I don't need a incident report that fast. The officer could be around the corner and it will be too late. Not the officers or departments fault, its the bad guys fault.

I did a grip mod but am a bit reluctant to show it. Took ten minutes and doesnt cost a dime if you have the product in your garage. Nothing permanent but works great. Stippling scares me most as its permanent. Id be ok with it on something like a removable palm swell. Looks cool and I'm sure works great.

Basically I try to determine what bad things can happen where I'm going. I have a truck bag and a hiking bag. Besides the bandage basics I carry the following things when walking the in the mtns. Pocket mask, CPR. Quick Clot, deep wounds. Rope or extra belt, tourniquet. Duck tape, great for splints, sprains etc. (I have taped several tourist ankles.) Snake bite kit, bug off etc.

May have been said already, push the slide forward and pull the trigger again. May just be wax buildup causing it to be out of battery.

Sounds like a bad hub lock. The humming in 2wd is the differential ratcheting from one axle turning. Raise the front and spin the wheels to see which is not releasing. The axle should not move, turn the wheel backwards to simulate engaging. They go bad all the time. Not that hard to fix yourself.

Shoot the largest caliber you are able to accurately handle. So yes, a 9mm will do fine if that's your limit.

^ this. Lots of nice O/U on the market. I liked the Red Labels. -
The lifter doesn't change. Just the removal of the button and installation of the feed ramp, (easyloader.) The new loader will act as the bolt close at a set distance from the reciever and of course a ramp for loading. Most of the guys doing three gun are using them.

Been looking at this lately, would like to see one in person though. Or first hand report on how well or not it works. Seems most reviews are positive on the wonderful net.

The couple of guys around here want the quad rail off. You need a special tool to take off the barrel nut that holds on the quad. Then the barrel comes out of the reciever. Make sure whomever you take the gun to,they have the tool. I bought one, but you can make one from PVC.

The moist air is brought back through the evaporator core escaping to the ground from the drain in the box. May have been said before. Newer cars a/c compressors cycle when in defrost mode to accomplish removing damp air. Now we all need to inspect this car to end the thread!

A leak inside causes the windows to condensate.

The jail shirt is a nice touch.

Basically heater cores will spring a small pin hole leak. Especially riding around in the cold you'll notice more than normal moisture on the windshield and some on the sides the longer your running. It will usually leak antifeeze when the core isn't hot enough. When the core is hot the antifreeze drips onto the hot fins causing steam. So after shut down it will steam a bit longer then just leak. Just like the engine radiator. Run your hand under the dash on the bottom of the heater box. Feel for antifreeze leaking. Check the level under the hood. Like I said before, I hope it's something else.

Hope it's not the heater core gone bad. See if you can smell it out of the vent.

I guess the 67 year old didn't get it his way. When I was 20 I would have swung back just by reaction. -
If anyone around East Tn needs a few rounds (37) of mil surplus 6.5x52 ammo & one clip let me know. I sold mine and apparently misplaced this ammo to go with it. It was dead accurate too That rifle is nice looking, hang onto it for sure.

DCI, Dan Coonan receivers are on the New M72 Yugo, probably the M70 tOo. DCI's are pretty good. Nodak Spud sells them.

Some of the vendors are outside trying to buy up personal guns from people walking up. So they are in on it too, except I havnt seen any of them sell. I bet a lot complain while the others are outside. Then there is the regular non vendor guys that are at every show in Tennessee. I've been to shows in Bristol, Nashville and Knoxville over the years. Its the same people out front traveling the circuit. I dislike this the most. These travelers sell guns like their selling crack. Anybody who has been to more than one show knows what I mean. These are the ones I bet the vendors hate most. All the while security is trying to enforce rules or complaints not having a clue how to do so. There lies the liability for RK and the security company. The gray haired guy is going to do something really stupid to the wrong person and get sued, arrested or both. .....and I'm sick of the RK Show commercials already, lol
