  1. Drive slow and enjoy our state flower.
  2. Wost ever I've seen on the range. Older guy hitting the back of the hammer with a metal object. So by holding the trigger and striking the hammer, it would fire. He said the hammer spring was too weak and the revolver always did that. ( Single action, rimfire, six shot.) Not sure of the manufacturer but he was removing the cylinder to poke out the empties with a stick. I grabbed the store owner who told the guy not to ever bring that pistol back to the property. I would have gone one step further.

    Hiking Pistola?

Cross, wood stake and a silver bullet. But mostly I hike with a G21
  4. I've hunted civil war relics for a while, I've seen nothing like that in the field. I would say not military anyway. Most eagles either had a shield or the bird holding arrows and olive branches. Looks way to big to Be any worn piece. Looks like some ornate civilian piece. Maybe for a door, clock etc. What else was around where you found this. Or where did you find this. I've hunted Grainger co for quite a few years. Little valley in Blaine?
  5. If you want back roads from Kodak let me know, I live in Kodak. There are plenty ways around the traffic. I can PM you the routes if you want. Clean places to eat. Chop house Kodak. Call ahead from 5pm on. Log cabin pancakes for breakfast, end of Pigeon Forge on left ( French toast royal ) Blue moose PIgeon Forge, best chicken, wings etc, sports bar type of place. McCalisters PF for soup and sandwiches. Pizza Place Kodak w dumplin vallley rd. (dilivers) There's a chicken wing place over near Bass pro. Foods ok service sucks. Still an option. (kinda below and over from chop house) Anything particular your looking for?
  6. Not trying to yuck up this thread. But the Bronco Super Celebration is at the Tally Ho in Townsend next week. 14, 15, 16th. Sat is the swap and show. If you like classic Broncos this is your crack. Havn't been to lost branch, will check it out though.
  7. Battle sight zero is roughly 250 meters in the military. So you zero your rifle at 25 meters. The bullet crosses path again at the 250 on it's way down. Look at the 300m target. The aim point circle is high so the bullet will get center mass in real distance. As is hitting high at 50m aiming at the circle. Bullet is still rising until 250.
  8. It's in a meth making residential area. Lots of Pillbillys around there too. Once you turn from 139 onto Tuckahoe you go back in time 20 years. There are a few respectable folks scattered about the area. The mustang salvage place on the corner is ok if you need some parts. You would think living 2 miles from them I'd have heard about the place. Never seen an ad or anything local. Maybe I'll ride by there in the next few days and report back. Google earth the area, you'll see what the area looks like.
  9. Maybe talking about Wears valley or even Townsend area.
  10. One officer was about to place down #36 evidence marker. The other officer had #45 in his hand. Was the owner shooting beta mag? ( I'm kidding ) Good guy. 2. W Bad guys. 0.
  11. Wish you posted sooner, we are going again tonight ! Been to O and La Nuba. Crazy that it came here. Before I ever saw the shows I just knew I wouldn't like them, wrong.
  12. Lithium sights, LMAO! Better take those off ! Hahahahahahahaha..! Thats a sweet gun review.

But just mentioning you have a .45 will stop everyone without having to even fire a shot. ( Some body will take this as being serious.) 9's are fine. Choose load wisely. As stated before. Carry the largest caliber YOU can effectively control.
  14. Rest in Peace fellow Soldier.
  15. Make sure the double stack mags don't fall out or wobble real bad.

    .22 semiautomatic

Mosquito = Waste I sent mine back and sig couldn't fix it, Jam-O-Matic. My wife could hardly pull the 75lb trigger. No fix for that either. Get a Ruger.
  17. Find white quartz and you will find placer gold around here.
  18. Got family there. Lots of friends up in Boonesboro, Harpers Ferry. I grew up in Montgomery county and left while I still had some sense. 270 was two lanes then
  19. Sounds like the flapper is not sealed and causing it to keep filling. Get a finger of grease or the like and spread around the pipe under/on the flapper. Or go to Lowes and get a new one. The red ones sold individually are very soft and seal well. Best tank assembly I have had luck with is this type. RANDOM INTERNET PICTURE AND PART NUMBER.
  20. May have be mentioned. My last feeling sick episode I did the Zicam thing. They were the melting tablets. Take one every couple three hours until symtoms stop. It worked for me. I went from a slight fever straight to the popcorn husk scratch in the throat cough. Never did feel real bad at all. I think it did lesson the cold or flu I had.
  21. Best thing I ever did to my 870's was trade them in for 1100's. I too don't like the recoil, if its not fun to shoot I don't want it. The regular Choate stocks work good but I never tried the ones you linked above. I say save your money and trade up. Say hi to my peeps in Frederick.
  22. The way I understand it. Convenience and grocery stores must card everyone for beer. Wine and liquor sales don't have to card anyone. Buying beer, wine, liquor at a bar or restaurant, do not need to be carded. Someone please correct me on this if I'm wrong.
  23. Wonder if the indians were a bit embarrassed years later. When they found out they got robbed by a hand full of white men with air rifles?
  24. How is it Ive never seen the likes of this contraption before? I dont remember Lewis & Clark being taught to me in skool. I started out like most here with some sort of BB/Air gun as a kid etc. Im pissed. Seriously cool rifle except for pumping it 1,500 times
  25. The Trooper rides the school bus?
