  1. That's what's magic. I wear readers and the wife is blind. Nothing to adjust with or without glasses/contacts on. I need to bust them open and see what's going on in there.Today I did notice within 50 ft it was a tad out of focus, but I do t need them that close.
  2. Ive been wanting a pair of binoculars for awhile now. My little 9x21 micro pair arnt cutting it. So I pick up a pair of Bushnell Permafocus 10x50, that should work. Holy mackrel! When did having to adjust everything dissapear? All you have to do with these are look through them, MAGIC! My wife says there must be some little dudes inside spinning lenses around or something to that effect. Heres what I got (The case looks like cheap vinyl, because it is.) Flimsy neck strap not in picture. Actual binoculars seem real nice though. Clear as a bell glass. .
  3. I was told a couple of dollars the first time I went. For the life of me I cant find where it said any fee for the range. I read that whole board, envelopes, everything. All I could figure out that it was for camping. I just figured I'd police the area so I wouldn't feel guilty each time I go. It's probably a huge sign is why I'm missing it.
  4. Best I can tell is free, but cost to camp. I always take a trash bag and clean up if its dirty, which it usually is not.
  5. Not sure if this is what pistol fan is talking about.Go through Newport toward Del Rio. Turn north on HWY 107 few more miles your there. Follow brown national park signs. You make a left along a small creek on a gravel road. Camping and shooting.

  8. On the show "Lockup" they interviewed a serial rapist. The first words out of his mouth was to separate the victim from the threat. The threat being the purse and what was in it. IE; Weapon. A female will be more likely a victim of theft than assault when out in public. Either way, the purse is going to be the target more than not. How many purses get snatched out of the shopping cart? To me it's the same as keeping a firearm in the glove box or console. Where is the crook going first? IN MY HUMBLE OPINION I don't think it is wise.
  9. The day my inlaws figured out there was nothing to gain, by coming over to my house. Success .
  10. I only eat at clean ( high health food scores ) and good service places. Welcome to my back yard. Log Cabin Pancakes, pigeon forge. Its at the end of PF before you hit the Spur. Get French Toast Royal. Clean place, good service. Blue Moose, chicken wings sports bar type place. TVs everywhere. Clean place all kinds flavor of wings, sandwitches . Pigeon Forge. McCallisters, soup and sandwitch place. Clean place scores well. Pigeon Forge Bubba Gump in G"burg. People complain of high prices. Seafood is always higher, but I dont think it is. Fun place. Best pizza is Big Daddys I think. Two locations, PF and Sevierville ( near Ihop, down from Titanic.) Mellow Mushroom is dirty and the crust is tough. Smokin Eds BBQ Sevierville, best BBQ around I think. ( Republican people )

    Glock Question

Ammo loads would make more a difference than model. Unless you really screw up your hold on the pistol messing up your trigger finger placement. But picking up different frames does this. In your G22 is that ball ammo the touched at 7? What did it do with duty ammo? I shoot ball then old carry ammo last, replacing it with the same type carry. Atleast this way, the last rounds I fired were the next ones to be fired. Probably more voodoo to my head than anything. As stated above "XS Big Dot" cant say enough about that.
  13. 1) Little to no smoke from shot. Compared to previous. 2) Doesn't scream or anything. Pretty calm considering he shot his face, almost. 3) Sets gun down gingerly and picks it back up easy on his way to the camera. 4) Shoots with back to camera. Conceals his face the rest of the time. 5) I would think the round pressure would have blew the cap off first, maybe not. The damage doesn't seem right. 6) Shows the hat damage at end. I thought this to be unreasonable considering what just happened. You would show it making a video though. 7) I know I would have screamed, thrown the gun and said F&$K over and over.....

  15. I know there are people this stupid, but I call BS on this video.
  16. How do we submit their names to the secret panel for airstikes.
  17. Best I can tell the slide is CNC'd pot metal. Given German Walther is making it. Fancy P22 Im betting, but really hope not. At high $300 range I'll look elsewhere.
  18. My wife couldn't pull the sigs DA trigger, 26 lbs? And you can't do much to a Rimfire main spring without affecting strikes. My sig example was probably the worst Rimfire pistol I have ever owned. I shoot quite a lot of ammo monthly, especially Rimfire. I'd agree with getting into another Ruger. Especially with the many options for them. I got tired of auto rimfires and went back to wheel guns. Picked up the new Taurus 22 convertible 9 shot. I like doing Rimfire and magnum long shots with pistols,my new adventure. Especially on steel plates.
  19. Good job guys cleaning up and all !

  21. I do a complete cleaning of my guns everytime I shoot. I dont think you can compare stripping a military pattern rifle to a civililian style. The AR type Smith gun is as simple as it gets. The Ruger is a bit more involved getting into removing stock ,the trigger/bolt etc. I like to shoot not clean. Since the Smith is alot easier I took to shooting it alot more. My custom Rugers sat jealous in the safe. The Rugers are all gone replaced by one Smith. Nothing wrong with the Ruger at all. I just like the Smith better. No exp with the sub gun.
  22. Then, before you hit Sevierville on Chapman, turn on White School Rd for the win. This will take you behind the scenes of Sevierville and Pigeon Forge depending on where you exactly want to go. Mark this route for rod run traffic.
  23. Weaver mount?
  24. Gave away my last 10/22 a few weeks ago, thanks to having a 15-22. Easy to strip/clean, doesn't jam, cheap mags etc etc etc. Works like a real AR. Hands down, best 22 auto I have ever owned.
  25. You need to carry the paper with you until you renew your DL. Mostly for getting a ticket, or not getting, purpose. Changing the address on the ID is $12 bucks at the DMV. Make sure you put the new address on the gun form. Shouldnt be an issue with the store. If so, show them the paper.
