  1. I just tell people I am comfortable with failure.
  2. Nice collection going there.
  3. Major, I have a friend with the .45. It has too many feed problems for me. Another carbine that interests me is the Thureon Defense 9 or .45 $700 ish.
  4. I bet my inlaws could find that guy and bum $20 bucks from him in hours.
  5. Be on the skyway Sunday morning, uh, in just a little while
  6. Sold every 22 pistol I had once I got the LCR 22. ( I carry it metal detecting also.)
  7. Actually there was none. Or at least I didnt pick up on it. It was a play on just how bad mud slinging gets. But no, I didnt walk out thinking anti R at all.
  8. Well I saw The Campaign last Saturday night. This in my opinion is the funniest movie Will Ferrell has made. One liners from start to finish. Caution if you don't like heavy language. I wouldn't take anyone under 30, lol. The movie was hilarious from start to finish. So if you like Wills previous movies, you are going to love this one. 5 stars from me.
  9. I can confirm my clan in SW Pa has always said youins, along with pop. Must be an Appalachia thing.
  10. Things that pop into my mind. Your upper body is hunched or leaning forward, making you lift your head up to level. Or, just not riding enough.
  11. I was in a tank all over the Fulda Gap. We had a list of what it cost to replace ran over items. 4 ft Curbs were like 400DM. It cost millions each time we rolled out on an alert. I peeled several guardrails with my M1.
  12. Sorry for your loss, prayers sent.

    Hernia Surgery

Have had several, none were a big deal. Take a cane with you to the hospital. You'll need it getting out of the car at home. You'll be doubled over for a few days/week.
  14. If its a fake .45, it will still kill you.
  15. In 50 years from now Andy Griffith will still be on 5 times a day. That's one show I can watch re-runs over and over. RIP
  16. I've been riding for a very long time. It seems over the last few years it has gotten alot more dangerous. Drivers seem alot more distracted, or in bigger hurry. Of course volume contributes as well. I went from hardly remembering having near misses, maybe one or two a year. Now it's two or three near misses everytime I'm out. I used to wear a t-shirt and sun glasses. Now I look like Batman with ballistic protection. If I fall on my back ill never be able to get up. That video reminds me of a car running a stop sign and taking out my pops, he survived.
  17. Must have bought some gold coins.
  18. We been getting best results with Amer Eagle 40 or 36gr. And Blazer 36gr in our Smith 15-22s. Jard 1.5 and 2lb triggers.
  19. 1100 has the recoil spring in the stock. I took a field gun, cut the barrel, reblued barrel/reciever,added king armory door breach ( pic of my 1100 on their site) they also put on a hi-viz front sight. Side saddle and G&G single sling point, extended mag tube and hoage pistol stock, one piece gas piston. I'm around $675 in the gun. I also had to drill out the gas ports on the barrel to get it shoot everything I put in it.
  20. Four fifty with night sights.
  21. My wife could barely pull the DA of any of my other rimfire revolvers. Even my last wore out Smith model 63. She has zero problems with the LCR 22 all day. Ruger says 11-14 lbs. Gunblast gave it a 7.11lbs, which seems odd. Anyway, holding both Smith model 63 kit (6 shot) and the Ruger side by side. The Ruger felt twice as light to me. Maybe since the trigger doesn't stack like traditional revolvers is the difference and just make it seem easier. Maybe my Ruger has a 8 lb trigger too. No way for me to measure it. The trigger has got smoother once I got past a thousand rounds or so. I'm around four thousand now and it still is perfect.
  22. You don't even need to carry a gun. Mention you have a .45 and the bad guy will fall over.
  23. I saw a Fobus quad rail today. It was 8 inch or so but was 30 bucks. Check to see if they have a longer one.
  24. Had mine for awhile now, absolutely love it. I bought it as a "trainer" for the 38 model. Training aside, it's a blast. As with the 38/357 the trigger is better than any other rim revolver I've had. It is a heavier pull than the 38/357 but thats expected because of rimfires nature. I would buy one all over again.
