Thought of this thread today as I got sweeped at a gun store. I was hanging out at the local gun shop today when an older gent, 70ish? Walked in with a pistol case in his hand. Store owner asks him what he needs and the guy pulls out the pistol, complaining of the trigger pull on his revolver. As it came out of the case he begins dry firing it, sweeping it towards me. The store owner lunges toward the revolver as it covers me. I'm ducking and pretty much headed for the floor. The man looks puzzled as he says, "it's not loaded." I won't go into my verbal response. Lesson I learned today. You won't have time to run when someone really wants to be stupid.

Apparently the coyote can't pass a background check and get a 12ga.

I have plenty of stuff so I didn't feel the need to buy anything. Until, Today a coworker asked if I was interested in an AR. Colt Match Target, ban rifle. 500 ball / 100 balistic tip ammo. 6 colt mags, 4/30rd, 2/10rd, 2/40rd America brand mags. Scope/rings/mount. I asked what he wanted and he said $850 for everything, said he had $800 in it new. Rifle has about 100rds through it. I said I was interested but I wasn't going to pay him $850 for all of that. He gave me a strange look when I offered him alot more. So here I sit with a new rifle.

I used to carry the LCR 38 until the wife claimed it. Best trigger pull EVAR, for a DA revolver.
