  1. The new LCRx 3in has a lot better grip. It will fit the regular LCRs. It is a Houge as well.
  2. """"Does anyone know if Smokey Mountain Knife Works carries any good quality auto knives in stock?"""""" They have some, but Buds Down the street from smkw has a some too. I know they have benchmades, fondled one yesterday.
  3. I feel for the guy making twice the plumbing calls and as many trips to the bank because of this.
  4. Barber shop with a woman? Should have never let them vote.
  5. Look for a local spring shop. They'll make the leafs where you want them for less money than buying a pack and doing it yourself. I've had several done buy a shop for less than $150 bucks in less than an hour. Height/weight etc.
  6. Tempting, but I'm going to hold out for 11th degree trainer.
  7. One of the biggest problem with these rifles is busting extractors because the chamber get neglected.   Definitely get the right equipment and geter cleand.  :pleased:
  8.  LMAO   It seems every Vietnam Vet I meet was a door gunner. Nobody fixed, fueled, flew or changed the oil in a helo, just door gunners.    I usually ask "Vets" that brag, what was your MOS, 11B, 19K?  Thats enough to end most conversations.

    Bus Wreck?

The way I heard was a car made one bus swerve into another bus.
  10. I wish someone would impersonate me at the VA hospital every month.
  11. I wouldn't have another, if you gave it to me.   I bought three new sent all three back, then sold them.    1) Bought a snub .38 from the factory with the barrel sticking out past the shroud. Was suppose it be 2.5 barrel, had 3.5 barrel. Could have threaded it. The gun box wouldn't close on it. How the heck did that make it out? 2) TCP 32. Wouldn't fire at all.  3) Tracker .22/22wmr. Cut my hand on the frame where the casting had not been ground off. Fired one cylinder of 22 long, then the cylinder locked solid along with trigger/hammer. Had to take it apart to clear the revolver.   JUNK, some may work but heck if I would ever trust my life with one.
  12. The older style I know has a rebar handle on the lid that sends a metal detector wild.    Or just follow the green grass line toward the house, my tank starts where the green grass stopped, 15 ft from the house.   The top of the tanks aren't usually all that deep.
  13. Mine cloggs just inside the tank all the time. I bought a tank lid that replaced my old square cement lid. This one has access so I can knock loose the clogg and continue on with life in minutes.
  14. AWD baby.
  15. Forgive me, but what is "Outpost?"
  16. I know a few people that work there. All are good, local people, so the hiring process seems to work ok.
  17. I may get the 9mm, but I'm liking the 3incher. Now make a .45 acp with a 3 inch!
  18. There are a lot more officers that do this and more, than people could ever imagine.   God Bless.
  19. Thats a bit high. I bought one at a local shop for $430 out the door a month ago.    They are fun as heck though.
  20. Being a good witness can save your life sometimes.
  21. They put it out on wednesday here. But either the employees, ( off the clock ) or their friends are waiting in line for it. (Kodak BassPro)   Jefferson City walmart has employees that don't shoot, buying it (off the clock) when its set out. Also the standard line of 5-10 old guys there too.    Buds in Sevierville is gouging. I noticed they had tons of .22,,,, 3 weeks after their grand opening , may still have leftovers today. Every employee seems to agree they are gouging as well. One or two seem to get offended when you walk away from the goug price.
  22. It's funny how we used to say this in the 70's.
  23.     ^ THIS
  24. At 65 inches, the Sara Mclaughlin commercials are too real. Its horrible having a 3ft puppy with one eye stair at me :(
