Tell me about the Taurus TX22, will a compact that comes with 13 round mags take the 16 rounders?

I like them,I have 2 single sixes and 1 Bearcat with the birdshead grip. This one has a little longer grip for some reason. Heres a picture of the grip panels.

Bought this today, been looking at it for a couple of weeks at a local shop. It was on consignment.I want to find out more about it like who and where it was built. Shoots really good and has a great trigger.

Anybody know of a GOOD gunsmith in Middle Tn. that can shorten a barrel on a Ruger Single Six? He would have to cut it down, recrown , drill and tap for the front sight,and shorten the ejector rod ,etc. I have a 5.5” and would like to shorten it to 3.5” or 3.75”

I have bought a couple of different sizes from them too. A new owner has it now I believe.

Well…. I got it. I didn’t get the wood grips or moon clips that came with it new.I called S&W before I bought it to see what year it was made and if they said it came new with wood and rubber grips and moon clips in the aluminum padded hard case. Made in Dec. 2003 Got my wood grips from S&W
