  1. I guess it will a lot safer to carry it on a empty chamber when I carry it. Thanks
  2. According to the manual,it has a safety thing built in to the hammer to prevent it from firing if dropped. You can pulled up the manual on Uberti's website. It has 3 hammer positions. 1st click is the safety,2nd click is half cock to rotate the cylinder for loading/ unloading , 3rd is to fire.Somebody let me know if this is wrong.
  3. I checked that , and it won't push forward.I checked my Blackhawk and it's 3.5 lbs.
  4. I shoot 38's out of mine and my lever rifles too about 90% of the time.
  5. It just feels dangerous to me.2 lbs. is good on a bolt action rifle, but on a handgun I don't know. I have a Ruger Blackhawk that I'm guessing is about 4lbs.I've never measured it , but I'm going to to compare.I did find those springs in Brownells ,thanks.
  6. Nice! Mine is just a little to light for me.I got my trigger pull scale out and it's 2 lbs.It feels lighter than that!
  7. Thanks for the info, that helps me a lot. I looked in my Brownells catalog, but didn't see a rebound spring for a Uberti.I'll check on the Wolff spring website. Thanks
  8. Is that the same thing as the main spring?
  9. I bought a 357 Uberti 1873 cattleman revolver this week off of a guy. It's not been shot much, less than 50 rounds. I've put around 100 through it in a couple of days. Anyway the trigger is way to light for me,2 lbs..What do I need to change to get a little heavier trigger?I've worked on a little or everything except revolvers.I guess it came from the factory this way , he said he hadn't changed anything.
  10. I was in Academy in Smryna tonight , didn't see any 22's. Do they usually put them out on the shelf? That's the 2nd time I've been there since it opened.
  11. Attic or shed would be bad unless you have ac in it in the summer.
  12. I have a lot of my .223,.243,30-30,and some other different calibers already resized and primed.I just store them in zip lock bags inside ammo cans, never had a problem.
  13. I called RCBS ,but the shipping was high.Outpost Armory is suppose to be getting some in . Thanks Jeff
  14. You are right!
  15. There's a guy in Murfreesboro that has a ad on GOC, he has 3 boxes of Remington Golden Bullets in the 225 packs for $90.lmao.Just like yours you paid $11.27
  16. Does anybody know any shops that has these?Looking for a #7. Thanks
  17. Thanks David.
  18. Is Win231 and HP38 the same powder ?
  19. Yes I store some of mine in the brass tubes you speak of.
  20. Hell I started "Hoarding" stocking up on ammo in 1999 when is wasn't cool. Lol.I just wasn't reloading back then, you could buy ammo reasonable back then.
  21. I'll run out of money before I do storage.
  22. I've been loading a lot of 38 Special for my lever rifles and Blackhawk .Right now I have about 4 Thousand SPP and around 3 K of bullets. I been loading more of these than rifle rounds lately, though I do have a lot loaded up.I just been shooting more of the 38's than any of my 22's. How low do you let you primer and bullet stash get before you start getting nervous?
  23. Yes , I think you can buy some really good lights ( bright) for not a lot of money nowadays .I have some lights I bought at a gun show a couple years back for $10 each, they have held up good and are bright.( 200 lumens) The brand is TechLight, they use 3 AAA's and have low, bright ,and strobe.I have a couple of Surefire's but use these more.I would like to try one of the 1000 lumens at WM, just to see how bright they are.
  24. Has anybody looked at the lights that WalMart carries? They have some that says they are 1000 lumens and 500 and 700 lumens. Some are rechargeable and some run with AA's.Prices are from $40 to $70.I may get one of the 1000 lumen lights and try it. I can always return it if it' s not a good light.
