Doesn't prohibit carry just prohibits use to inflict bodily injury. IMO it not only doesn't meet the TCA definition of a correct sign it really doesn't say you can't carry either. "No weapons..........may be used in any way to inflict bodily injury.........."

Look at the Coffee County area.  About an hour out of Nashville or Chattanooga on I-24.  Thirty minutes or so to Murfreesboro and good shopping, doctors, and hospital.   You won't find a truly international airport in TN but Nashville will have more flights to an international airport like Atlanta than any other city.  Lost our only flight (London) years ago about two years after taxpayers paid to lengthen a runway for American who the politicians failed to make sign an agreement to have a flight for any length of time !)   By the way, built 6 miles from a fire station several years ago.  Insurance companies are now using a mapping service and mine went up 52% because 5 miles is the cut off.  No other companies could do me any better, some were worst.

In an email reply to my disappointment in her vote to kill Senator Beaver's amendment to the "parking lot" bill she has indicated that I should not be upset because of her pro gun owners vote on two bills to strengthen last year's Safe Commute legislation. She says one gentleman she talked to agreed after her explanation. Before I call her will somebody enlighten me as to why I should applaud her. By the way, I tried to pose this question to TFA but their website again acts like I am not a member so I guess I won't rejoin again.

+1 to the Trane (or American Standard, same company) Dual Fuel HVAC system.  Electric AC and Heat Pump with a control that lets me set at what outside temp I want to switch to propane.   At around 28 degrees a hest pump is zero efficiency so the emergeny strips come on (a BIG toaster) to try to keep you in heat.   Cost more up front than a standard electric HVAC but I think it was well worth it.        Seven years old and never a problem.

Have one for home defense.  Have put about 15 rounds of 00, 0, and 1 through it with no problems.  Put a glowing-type (light intensifying) front sight on to improve aim.  For my purpose the cost difference was, and still is, not worth it.

So the person who shot them, in fear for his life", took the law into his own hands.  Some comments:  The police have no obligation to protect "an individual",  per the Supreme Court,  which means the individual is on his on.      And, did the two not take the "unlawful" into their hands?   Good kids don't rob.  Good parents don't say their kid never had a chance to go straight unless they can prove that they did their job to keep him from "hanging with the wrong people".   Own up, people!  Take responsibility for your actions!
