So far my experience has been 10 1/2 months since filing of a claim and to schedule an appointment for a hearing test.   I was told I had hearing loss in both ears.    Denial Letter issued in 10 days of test date.        Written appeal made mailed July 10th and no further word from VA has been received--6 months.  Glad it's not life-threatening!     

I won't be holding my breath.

It is stupid to think that interrupting a gathering that has no relation to your protest will do any good or even help your cause. The fact that late teens or early twenty-somethings did the demonstration shows that our education system sucks because they don't understand what veterans did, or still do, for them. Can't talk to stupid people--I'm not the jackass whisperer.

They migrate south for the winter and add to the local population. About 75 in and around Manchester/Lake Normandy. Mostly Black Vultures. Congregate in large roosts. Winter in this area every year. I counted 34 in the trees at the end of my property several years ago. None here now as the water towers in town seem to be their favorite spot for the past two months.

Might want to verify that you can use a 22. My instructor wouldn't allow it. I now know the regs don't say you can't use a 22 but his logic may be good His thought was hardly anyone carries a 22 so you should not qualify with it.
