The connector change should not affect the energy of the firing pin striking the primer unless it allows the firing pin to be released sooner. I tried the edge connector, and I think it was a waste of money.

The first article says self inflicted gunshot. Doesn't even mention anyone engaging him other than police. I didn't even read the other two.

Looked more like a simple water test than sand/water. He just splashed water over it. The sand would be settled on the bottom. I'd like to see where the actual failure occurred. Is it the firing pin channel because of the cocked indicator or somewhere else? I could see the indicator causing issues. It still feels so good though.

I really love the way my VP9 feels, but I know there is no way it will compete with my Glocks. It suffers from the same issue most guns do. It is overly complicated with a lot of parts. It fits my hand like a glove though. And that's why I bought it.

Wrong place

Quick question I hope. Did Sig change their magwell dimensions at some point? I recently acquired a West German and the one mag I have to try in it is to wide. It goes maybe 1/3 of the way. Is it a fluke? If not, what kind do I need to order?

My bolt is pretty smooth. Better than most out of the box is how I would grade it.

I've actually got one of the polymer stocked ones. I imagine it would be a joy to carry as it is very light. I haven't shot it yet though.

We had it here, but it was cut due to budget issues. I doubt any of us will want our local taxes raised to pay for it. And neither side can balance the budget and add it back.

I tried one and hated it. It was the plain ghost edge connector. I think they make a more expensive one though. Hated is a strong word. It didn't really do anything. I took it out almost immediately. It is laying around here somewhere.

The Vertec was a 92 and took the regular mags, so I'd be shocked if it didn't. It was just like a regular 92 but had the grip angle of a 1911. It was the essentially the same gun.

I don't recall that stock coming on that edition, but I could be wrong. Does it come with the plaque thing? They really aren't worth much more in general. I think it came with the 25 round magazine.
