They won't tell the gun store anything about the issue. They will only tell you. Get the denial code from the dealer and call yourself. I've heard they sometimes mail the customer info, but I've not heard of it happening lately. They only contact the gun store if the appeal is overturned or placed on conditional proceed. Sounds like neither happened for you.

Gauging Interest - TGO Logo Stainless Steel Tumbler

Looking forward to seeing these come up for sale. I may get one or two, just depending. I gotta buy one just to encourage you to do this more often. -
Do they do it electronically or call it in? They copied your form? If they used the computer, they just enter your driver license number. It auto populates most of your info except state of birth. And TICS doesn't use the delay code. Really strange.

On the 20th of May, I received a phone call from a guy named Joshua from Jeep Wave. Long story short, he said I should have been connected with Jeep Wave from the start. He apologized profusely. He offered me the Jeep Maxcare 5000+ coverage for 6 years or 75k miles. He asked me what I wanted. I told him I would love to have a soft top. He wasn't sure what he could do, but he would call me Monday to let me know. He did call Monday. Said he couldn't do the premium top that I asked about but could do a cheaper one from Quadratec. It costs about $880. He even emailed it to me to help me feel better about. I have to purchase it first, and they will reimburse. It should be here tomorrow if the tracking is true.

PayPal allows gun shirts? Or is it okay as long as you claim it isn't high capacity? Either way, I just ordered. Thank you for this. -
I waited a week and contacted them again last night. Once again, I was told a supervisor would call. Well, a specialist called today. He acted pretty surprised by everything that has occurred. He very politely asked what I would like since I've had so much trouble. He said he would see what he would do and call me back tonight. He also emailed me his contact info including his direct line. I'll keep it updated.

She called me May 11th. Assured me should would call on the 12th. Still waiting.
-
Well, they finally called me yesterday to tell me they are still reviewing it. She told me she would contact me again this morning. I'll bet you'll never guess who didn't call.

125 miles when I took possession. The dealer is the one that said Jeep would take care of everything. The dealer wants nothing to do with it.

I contacted them again last night. I got the same person that originally started my claim. I was given the supervisor's name at least this time. He said the case was marked as being reviewed, but he isn't sure what is going on because my case has so many notes. I have supposedly been escalated to a higher group. I am told it should be Monday now.

They had the Rubicon almost two weeks. I have it now. Big surprise, the supervisor never called me today.

I contacted customer service tonight. A supervisor is supposed to call me tomorrow. A lawyer sounds good, but I think it would probably cost me more than I wanted to pay. I'm hoping Torrie can solve some problems. I am very frustrated.

I received my Rubicon on the 28th of April which was just short of two weeks. Customer service wanted me to drive it for the week end and she would call me on Monday. She didn't call me Monday but she did call Tuesday and left me a voice mail saying she would close the claim on Friday is she had not heard back. I called her every business day to reach her. I left a message everytime. Yesterday, May 4th, I get an email saying they are closing the case since I haven't responded since the 19th. My Jeep was still at the dealership for the record on that date. Well, I flipped out as you can imagine. I've been really passive until that, but that email made me lose my calm. I immediately called Jeep but I did not enter my customer service person's extension. That sent me to a rep. I told them what was going on. They said a new rep had been assigned to me. That was news to me. She transfered me to the new rep. I left a message. This was Wednesday. That brings me to today. She called me back. She told me she was closing the account with zero compensation. I told her I was told that the previous agent said I would receive something. She said she would call me back. An hour later she calls me back. Says she can offer a service plan. I told her I wanted an extended warranty since I am concerned what else they forgot to do to it. She says her boss won't approve it. She also won't reimburse my rental claim as it was not with one of the two approved chains. This is supposed to be included in the new Jeep warranty. I told her if the rep would have called me back instead of waiting a week after my case opened, then I would have done that. Needless to say, I am very unhappy withy Jeep experience. I am going to try one more time after I calm down. However, I think it is extremely sad that my exciting new purchase has left me so bitter. After this fiasco, I would never recommend purchasing a Jeep. They've definitely given me gripe rights on this one.

I'm really surprised the EPA hasn't gotten hold of this. Imagine what it could be leaking. I guess this isn't political enough for them to care. I think someone should raise the Jolly Roger and claim it as theirs. That's pretty ridiculous.

You sound like a gun control advocate there with just some minor changes. Are you saying driving 80 in a 40 is the cause of wrecks? Cause how often does that happen? That person has worse problems than speeding. Are you saying if I'm doing 41 while the speed limit is 40 I'm going to cause more wrecks? Your example is so vague. If I'm doing 40 on a highway with a speed limit of 70 that I'm going to make it safer for everyone else?
-
Correct. Not paying attention is the problem. People running lights and stop signs. People drinking too much. People looking down in the bag of food they just bought for the fries. Those are examples of the causes.
-
Do the math with a speed limit of 40 and someone doing 50 or a speed limited of 65 and someone doing 75. Paying attention is vital while driving. Reaction time is very important, but it isn't the cause of the problem. I will agree that a wreck at higher speed will be generally worse than it would have been at a lower speed. I bet you could do a study that shows speeding decreased wrecks by comparing amount of time driven per wreck. I'm surprised we haven't wasted some government money on that.
-
There is no correlation between speeding and wrecks. People not paying attention causes wrecks.

No loaner. The car was towed Saturday night after they were closed. I wasn't waiting around until Monday for a loaner. Jeep waited a week to call me back to tell me they would cover a rental. I'm waiting to hear their offer before I complain. They can make me happy if they want too. I'm much calmer these days.
-
I may get it back tomorrow. They called today to say it should be done tonight or in the morning. Tmorrow is day 12 by my account. I'll be sure to update after I talk to Jeep. I think they want to work something out for me.

Test track? What dealership has a test track?

They fluids aren't empty but a little over half filled according to my friend who is a mechanic for them. Sounds stupid to me, but I can only imagine what companies will do to save money.
