  1. It is a centerfire.
  2. No headstamp at all. I should have listed that. No markings. A customer brought it in and said he has a bunch of them. He left me one to try to identify. My intention was to bring it home and measure it, but I left it at work.
  3. Any thoughts? It is being compared to a 22lr. The rim really throws me off. I compared the rim to a 32 auto. It looked minutely smaller.
  4. What does it say on the sides? The article says they are made in the same factory as the others which wouldn't be in TN.
  5. That would be awesome
  6. I might go in for a second one as well if needed. Might.
  7. Payment sent. Thank you again.
  8. Not according to the Pope if they own a weapon. Of course, according to the Pope, all Popes wouldn't be Christian since they control weapons as well.
  9. They ask the manufacturer where they sold it. They then ask the vendor where they sold it. They then ask the gun store who they sold it to. The store has to produce the paperwork.
  10. They quit making the lc9 about a year ago. I'm sure the lc380s will knock out the lc380 when it comes out too. Why they haven't don't that is beyond me.
  11. Same frame and slide.
  12. I get it received better acceptance outside the US than it did here, but what was it exactly? The muzzle break isn't anything. How was the chargind handle different? I can't imagine it would require a total redesign.
  13. Pretty cool write up on the original AR-10. Anyone know why no one uses that design for 308?
  14. It can be repeated hand cycling dummy rounds. I think the problem is that the sear isn't being released so that the hammer is being captured in cocked mode. Does anyone know what causes it to release the sear? I took it partially apart and still couldn't see anything.
  15. It is the original, not the compact. The gun has quite a few rounds through. Probably more than 5,000. The hammer has not been disassembled at all. Just field stripping and cleaning. The recoil spring could probably stand to be replaced, but I wouldn't think that would cause a failure such as that. It doesn't do it every time, but it has started doing it a lot. It has done it with several different kinds of ammo, but I haven't tried mini mags.
  16. It fires and loads the next round. However, the gun doesn't cock for the next round. I don't believe the sear is capturing the hammer. Any thoughts how I could test it or fix it?

    Dad Gift

Beautiful gun. I hope your dad lives well. I can't imagine losing one of my parents.
  18. I thought the military/ police/ security guard exemption only allowed one to skip the shooting part of the course.
  19. I prefer the vp9 over the PPQ for my Glock alternative, but a 45 PPQ may be added to my collection. Can't wait to hold one.
  20. That article made me laugh. I needed a tinfoil hat chuckle moment.
  21. Agreed. It seems when they go off the drugs or never get them to start with seems to be worse than being on a drug prescribed by their Dr. Some people are just messed up mentally. Treatment of the mentally ill has really improved over the years. I would prefer them on their meds than off. Just like I prefer my parents on Lipitor than not.
  22. Taurus has always been a bit scary as a brand.
  23. What are you talking about and when? The early 1900s when factory jobs were horrible and unsafe? It is hard to have a discussion with you when you use broad and undefined language. Are you a lawyer? -neener
  24. Not sure what you are trying to say. Most studies show more job opportunities and increased growth. Minimum wage has been around for some time time. The removal of what would be pretty disastrous.
  25. If the dollar was still tied to a tangible good, then I would agree with most of you. However, it isn't. Most studies show that keeping minimum wage level with inflation increases economic growth. I think everyone agrees corporations are greedy.
