No you have to get two tins of ammo one to shoot and one to save. Hex Receiver Tula Unless you can find a Remington or Westinghouse at a good price then you call me :-)

Your friend is lucky on many counts. 1] He shot crappy reloads and survived unhurt. 2] Not only got his gun replaced but got an upgrade 3] Most importantly no one else was hurt I do not shoot anonymous reloads I have to know the reloader very well I do shoot my own reloads. Also beware of the reloader that starts off telling you that the reloading manuals play it safe with their loading data and his are more powerful RUN don't walk away.

There is no law against selling a mount that I am aware of. I think he is talking about an unmounted head or selling venison or other wild game meat. You can give it away just can't sell.

I have shot Blazer Brass FMG, Magtech First Defense HP, and Double Tap HP with no problems at all with any of them.

Hack-job Savage 110 stock refinish and camo
Randy L replied to DRM's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Birchwood Casey Tru Oil is the best stuff to use on gun stocks easy to work with and you can make it as shiny as you want or as dull wipe it on with a rag then oooo steel wool do this at least 3 times then if you don like the shine just buff with steel wool to get desired finish. Oh DRM your stock looks fine you are the only person you have to make happy and you learn in the process -
What are the Marlin 1894 rifles going for these days I gave $350 for mine a few years ago at the Nashville gun show.

Now if we could get someone to make a small of the back double gun holster we would be set -
Have that same gun and I love it and yes the finish is durable functions perfect no it is not a Colt but not as high priced either. My brother bought an American Classic 1911 and for the money it can't be beat.

When we were kids we would kill any snake we found just our upbringing. Now I will no longer kill a snake unless it is me or it I have even caught a grass snake with gloves on and let it go and we had one lay eggs in a rotted out tree that we cut down moved the eggs to a mulch pile and let them hatch keeps the mice population down. You just have to use some common sense. Over at Brandon Springs LBL they have a big black snake and they will let the kids pet it and it just lays on the ladies lap like it is no big deal.

I have a older Rossi break action love it my brother has a Wolf and it shoots well. I think any break action style will serve you well. Don't leave out the pawn shops just do your homework on the new price so you will know what is a fair price for a used one. Take a bore light with you to check the bore now is the time to find a used one as the season is over.

wondering, TICS required for replica blackpower pistol?
Randy L replied to vontar's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
Muzzle loading firearms are exempt from background checks and can be bought and sold without restrictions in most states there are some that require background checks. Also firearms made prior to 1898 are also exempt because the are considered antiques by the BATFE but not all dealers are aware of this or just don't want to take the chance. -

Have a Savage had the same problem if you want to use that scope offset mounts that position scope farther to the rear or see if you can find a one piece picatinny mount thats what I did on the savage other than getting a long eye relief scope and since we are talking eye relief make sure you have plenty of it or a trip to the doctor might be in order

I guess each to his or her own. My wife doesn't like them but she doesn't have any guns of her own she said if she needed one she would just get one of mine. That being said if I had girl and she wanted a pink gun I would buy her one without hesitation. I have two boys and they aren't interested in guns at this stage of their lives one is busy with collage and girlfriend and the other is into legos
