  1. so, I take it that's a fake suppressor, and now you have a new barrel with a threaded end and no sleeve? Or is the flash hider permanently attached? whatever, looks good
  2. that's cool. lvl 41 seems to be the highest that everyone is posting on the internet Personally, I can't see playing that long solo, it's so slow. It took forever just to get to 19.
  3. Yeah, my strategy changed dramatically the other day. We used to hold up in the fire pit room, and the farthest we got with 4 people was 19. Now I've completely thrown the defensive location tactic in the wind, and have went to a "flight" method. Basically, make as much money as you can using knives through the first three rounds, go upstairs, open the two doors and buy the pump shotgun. Defend that room until you have enough money to open the door to the dressing room and also the one leading to the stage. Turn the power on, link the teleporter. You will make the zombies "train" if you stay going in this same loop in the order that you opened doors. When the round ends, wait in teleporter and fight off zombies until they are about to overtake you. Then teleport to projection room and start chucking grenades in a dispersed pattern (you can go to the wall and buy more, usually get 3 volleys in). You'll be teleported back to the lobby and you'll hold it as long as you can, then start your loop again. If you didn't chuck all your grenades in the same spot, you should have a good collection of crawlers in the theater, which will give you time to sync the teleporter (your priority) and rebuid the barriers, hit the box, buy drinks, etc... At the end of round go back to the teleporter again and repeat. I got to level 19 the only time I've tried it solo, and would have probably made it farther if I hadn't had people start texting me while I was in the thick of fighting. This is kind of a hard techinque to use if you're in a larger group as everyone has to be disciplined; tight group movement (if you split, the zombies will split direction), no fretting over the box (there will be plenty of time), don't try to wade back into the horde to pick up anything, and downed people are SOL until next round (unless they survive until the group makes the loop).
  4. On Kino Der Toten, the power switch is backstage (behind the curtain) at the far end. I think it's like 4 doors to open to get there. On Five (the Pentagon map), the power switch is in the research sub-levels, in the smallest room near the center of the level.
  5. Yeah, I don't think I could have made that trade. I have an old ported V-12, and sure, it's not "melted"/de-horned like a Kimber, but it's dead on reliable and a sweet shooter. Plus, you just don't see that many of them around. Nice guns!
  6. If you can't find anyone, you might try checking with Guns and Leather. They have a pretty good selection of Glocks to rent for their range.
  7. TGI used to assemble rifles, but now that part is handled by Waffen Werks is my understanding. Does the receiver have a FEG marking on the side? "SA 2000M" was a designation for single stack receivers, but a lot have been converted to dual stack. More than likely this is a TGI assembled rifle using a Hungarian sporter (importable) receiver.
  8. Yes, you missed the entire point of the article. It was about the problem with convincing countries like China & India to limit their burning of oil & coal, which is like telling them we want to control their economic growth.
  9. Wow, did you even read any of the article, or just the headline? The cliff notes version: Man made climate change is real For a country to become rich, it has to burn coal, oil, or gas Industrialized countries bear more responsibilities, but emerging countries like India & China show no regard to limiting emissions "in developed countries, we have realized that for a climate protection target of two degrees neither purely technical solutions nor life style change will be sufficient." we have known since 1995 what causes the greenhouse effect, and our responsibility starts there, not before (this, in defense to other countries' claim that developed countries own a larger historical responsibility) And the real meat of the story: "Developed countries have basically expropriatedthe atmosphere of the world community. But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole." (limiting a developing country's emissions is going to have a larger impact ontheir economy, so getting them to sign on will be difficult)
  10. This. With Bray, it seems like a completely different team on both sides of the ball. I think Bray has a much better arm and would rather see him play, but I think the team had a lot more problems than just Simms at the beginning of the year, when they were facing the meat of their schedule.
  11. or use the unlock code, which is what we did since our group only cares about zombie maps and not so much the campaign...that map totally rocks
  12. +1 I was hoping they'd have the large maps and destructible environments of BadCo2. Instead it's like the worst elements of MW2 multiplayer, and a pathetically easy, short single player campaign. I was totally let down by MoH.
  13. yeah, the OP stated that his dad didn't want to spend a fortune, so I'd think the Hammerli would be out of the picture
