Well back then it wasn't all that well regarded by someone who could afford to buy a S&W Kit Gun or Ruger Bearcat insofar as overall quality went. What gave it an edge was the 9 shot capacity vs. six shots. A lot of what was going on with that particular revolver was the "tackle box gun" mindset. That's also why the Bearcat was so popular as well as it was so small. Small bore plinking saw a big interest in the Ruger Standard 22 LR pistol due to the fact it was so darned inexpensive, was small and looked like a Nambu or Luger.

Hmm???Sound's like the fish are having a field day then.

That's all to often the case when someone is caught being unfaithful and know they don't have a leg to stand on, even more so when they still have enough integrity for shame. The betrayal cut's across far more than the marriage and all to often the children will cease to have anything to do with the guilty spouse. I totally agree the ex-wife is still the surviving child's mother and it is unfortunate they've never reconnected. We do have the capacity to forgive but its impossible to forget.

Cutting a Plastic/Synthetic Stock
TNWNGR replied to shotgunshooter's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/t-63943.html https://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=6&f=1&t=301909 If your going to do it I suggest you review both of these and some u-tube videos. Go ahead and invest in some Accra glass and a replacement recoil pad a tap and die set, some good drill bits and a drill press or lathe. There's a bit more involved here other than cutting and sanding because you'll be fabricating new mounting tabs. I suggest trying this out on an inexpensive air soft or air rifle stock first but aside from a bit of time think its DIY-able. -
That'll be interesting to read further on. Arming recruiters or gate guards with a sidearm might provide them with a means of fighting back against certain armed threats but less so against a determined rifleman. What's required is a significant degree of target hardening and a layered defense. The storefront recruiting stations have effectively been rendered untenable from this point forward.

You shouldn't have to it's a despicable act of contempt and betrayal.

I suspect quite a bits changed over the years since this particular divorce occurred. Changes in many locations have excluded alienation of affection and adultery statutes. At one time female adulterers, or ones accused of such, had little to no rights as they hadn't the income to seek representation. Some courts now will award monetary living and child support to the woman even if she was the guilty party.

Probably about the same thing as the KGB umbrella... -
L.A. police find stash of 1,200 guns in dead man's home

I figured this story would generate all of the how and why questions on the guns being seized, and yes it was a seizure. ESSONE and DAVETN have correctly summarized it and laid it out. This is an active unattended death investigation, deal with it, the only issue here is the number of guns involved making it newsworthy. As to who get what back and when, well that's going to depend on if there was a will, heirs and everything being probated. The board fixation here is on the number of guns seized and what's going to happen to them. The question about police setting up at the firing range to check serial numbers is irrelevant to this topic. -
Perhaps, but I don't really feel a lot of sympathy towards them. Some may have been there for the public flirtation and teasing aspect of an adult site, some for financial gain others under the perception of discrete adultery. None were right.

In TN it's a civil, not criminal violation...IOW you cannot be arrested for adultery here. There's no question that adultery is despicable but its just as despicable for the male violator as it is for the female violator. Try to list adultery as cause for divorce in TN and let me know how that works out for you. I'll clue you in...you'll spend a ton of money for little or no satisfaction in a no fault divorce state.

A criminal act aimed at punishing an immoral act's a bit of an oddity.

OK. Let's break this down into components. Ready availability of parts. That's an odd question as either have readily available repair parts and aftermarket parts. The only limiting factor is your own ability to install replacement parts should there be the need to do so. Magazines and holsters are readily available for either with a slight edge to the 1911 as the G-36 magazine is proprietary. If you went with the G-30 you could utilize G-21 magazines as well. The Officers Style 1911 will use any .45 ACP 1911 GM style of magazine. Which will outlast the other? I seriously doubt you will ever shoot enough rounds through either pistol to impact its service life. Now as to the maintenance side of the equation. The 1911 OM style pistol needs to be kept clean and lubricated otherwise it will have some reliability issues. The Glock isn't as sensitive to being run dirty or somewhat dry and is more resistant to corrosion. Now as to the safety question...that's been debated every since the first G-17 came out so I'll only say training, proper equipment and not playing around with the pistol.

Shot from a good rest that handgun should produce some amazing groups. Of course you realize you'll be spending as much and likely as not more for a scope than you paid for the handgun don't you?

A 22 LR bolt used in a 22 WMR 9422 might manually hand cycle but there will be other issues. Headspace and the rim fire firing pin piercing the rimfire shells base are two such problems. W/O doubt there are others but as a general rule use OEM parts for repair or sell it to someone else. Here's a parts link with diagrams. http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/ctgy/winchester-model-94-22-parts

IIRC there have been some reports of assaults and threats in regard to the WBC in the past. They also made a point out of demanding protection. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/02/26/cop-bashing-gay-hating-westboro-church-begged-feds-for-protection.html

IIRC that's the primary military location for autopsy. It's pretty much a DOD policy and part of any homicide investigation. Here's a pdf that explains a bit. http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/corres/pdf/550510p.pdf

I've been considering a set of those sights because its enough of a dissimilar sight picture to keep your eye on the front sight. I'll be looking forward to follow up information from you on the set of sights you purchased.

What they're trying to do is get you to go online, give them permission to remote access your computer, get you to agree to pay them to trouble shoot your computer, leave spyware behind and then defraud you. One hacker thought he'd outsmart them for an article but as soon as he canceled permission for the credit card transaction they wiped his computer. They also left a vulgar message.

Petition was created that demands military be able to CCW
TNWNGR replied to tennesseetiger's topic in General Chat
Regardless of petitions its not really going to come down to a public decision and the current POTUS isn't likely to be concerned over the matter. -
I'm guessing you haven't done a lot of work or interactions on community projects, forums and committees? That's where I've met the business, educational and religious leaders of different race and gender. I'm hoping this is sarcastic humor which if so is in poor taste if not this line of thought isn't new and was once widely proscribed to. It didn't make it right then either.

That sure looks like some type of broken up nest to me. Have you inspected the overall unit yourself to see if this could be the case. But FWIW depending on where the units located and the vegetation around it yes that much stuff can get inside it, particularly if you have nearby trees and bushes.

Google Fu is a prerequisite of the modern day college experience but alas Microsoft Word doesn't promote good spelling. Humorless professors who love red ink and the discovery of poor proof reading though do improve spelling and grammar... But I digress...here you go RC3 https://docjt.ky.gov/legal/documents/WhitePaperonOpenCarryandCarryingv2.pdf
