Those were some really good guns, the initial 1911 knock offs that Taurus did were really good to.

Taurus is a mixed bag insofar as reliability and quality goes but I've had good success with some of their product line and particularly like the PT-111. I wouldn't worry about the purchase and recommend you shoot the pistol extensively and enjoy it. Far to many people worry about an overly heavy trigger DA rigger pull. Just shoot it, you'll adapt to it and I time the DA trigger will improve just a wee bit. Jeff Quinn @ Gunblast.com did a review on the PT-11 G2 http://www.gunblast.com/Taurus-PT111G2.htm I pretty much have the same opinion of the PT-111 G2 as him and if I were in the market for one I'd purchase such w/o concern. Enjoy your recent purchase.

Very true...

Isn't that what gun tinkerer's do? Miniature Machine Corporation (MMC) at one time made an adjustable rear replacement sight for the PPK/s which the late gun writer Skeeter Skelton wrote about rather frequently. For those of you who admire the looks of the PPK, PPK/s I agree it is a beautiful gun with the PPK being the more desirable of the two. If you have a reliable PPK or PPK/s in .380 ACP its a nice pistol If you find one in .32ACP and get a chance to shoot it you'll be amazed at how pleasant it is to shoot. Overall, the PPK, PPK/s is one of the pistols all shooters should find an opportunity to shoot.

The Ridgeline is a nice vehicle and as has already been stated is strongly related to the Honda Pilot. I have a friend who loves the Ridgeline so much he purchased three used ones. He didn’t think a full sized four door 4X4 PU truck could match the Ridgelines comfort level. Then he rode in my ’16 F-150 Supercab V-8 4x4. If you want a Ridgeline then buy one, but before you do there’s an awful lot of full sized four door 4x4 trucks out there, check them out.

It depends on what you want. If it's a smaller five shot .38/.357 then the Model 60 is hard to beat but the SP-101, though slightly larger, is a little more comfortable to shoot with .357 Magnum rounds. If its a 6 shot .38/367 the 3" barrel Ruger GP-100 is a bit larger and heavier then the 2.5" barrel S&W M-19/66 and again a little bit more comfortable o shoot with .357 Magnum rounds. The S&W 686 has been available with a 2.5" barrel and size wise is on par with he GP-100. Overall I prefer 1970-1980's S&W revolvers. My personal recommendation is go with the GP-100.

I think you exercised good judgement in calling 911 based on what you've presented here.

His actions are annoying and offend my sense of propriety but he has every right to be as offensive an a-hole as he desires to be. It's unfortunate when professional athletes, musicians and actors consider themselves more knowledgeable about social issues and engage in public theatrics.

If you know someone with a Kel-Tech P3AT .380 ACP that'll let you shoot it then that's close enough to the LCP as to not make much difference.

Excellent video, well formatted, informative and taught me something about a product I was unaware of. Great Job!

Those vehicles were generally sold at 50k miles w/o light bars and such so unless you had pre-used equipment to install in them it really wasn't a good deal. The agency I used to be at bought those vehicles for four or five years, then when all of the equipment was used up or broken we stopped. If you had to install new light bars and cages it was more cost effective to buy a package deal. If you folks saw what most of those cars went through on a daily basis and the types of filthy people who were transported in them you'd be disgusted. I've had to set off bug bombs in vehicles and clean some of the most degusting messes out of the back seats. I kept a spray bottle of bleach and water in my trunk and a few times went to a self service car wash and pressure washed the rear seat area, used the wet vac and then sanitized it.

Is that a trigger shoe on the screen left pistol?
-
Most likely she's exactly what you thought an off duty officer on the way home from firearms training. As for the house shoes she probably put those on as soon as she got into her vehicle to go home. Tactical mindset? Nope. Human being not thinking about anything more then grabbing some stuff and going home? Yep

Interesting topic bersaguy, as a lot of others have said a prepaid package is preferable to policy. FWIW that's the route I've decided upon insofar as a creamation service goes. But you just reminded me to update my will and name a new executor. Thanks.

That's a good assessment and in line with the "wearing a gun at people" line of reasoning. Though most who do so claim its in order to assert their 2d Amendment Rights its really rubbing things in other peoples faces. In reality it comes down to being an attention whore for the majority of the folks who do this stuff.
-
Hmm? Guns to small to be wearing it at folks enough so throw on a 30 round mag for extra bling? Or someone hasn't spent enough time shooting tactical Tupperware pistols with extended mags like that to find out there's a difference between range shooting and real world carry.
-
Funny. I wonder who figured out the "hey, if that stuff works for arm and leg casts why not????"

She's a smart lady who recognizes the ability to market her business and name via means of social media. There's a lot of folks who've been doing the same for quite some time now. All in all she's an up scale millennia who appears to be having some fun with her life and enjoys the outdoors.

LOL...it is what it is...

It's just another silly selfie of someone carrying AIWB who just happens to be into color coordinated pistols and close fitting clothes. But she does look pretty nice.
-
Interesting but nothing really earth shaking, although ditching the finger grooves is pretty cool.
-
So someone posting a selfie of themselves in a firearms related forum is topical because said person is an attractive female? Really? I guess it all depends on context but I'm not getting the point.

Hey free is an incredible deal and even better is from a friend. As to the atrocious action. That's pretty common in Beretta 92F's but does improve a lot with use. Some people invest in a Wolff spring kit to get optimum results, I lean more towards dry firing and shooting the gun and letting it smooth itself out.

This has been one of the more original threads I've read here lately as I learned something new and was pleased to see how quickly Jenny problem solved it and put it to rights.
