  1. This may be the one movie I go to this year. I don't go to many since John Wayne stop making movies.
  2. Since when do you need a cell phone to get a job? When I was working for someone, I didn't own a cell phone. Now that I hire people, a cell phone will never be a requirement. Getting to work is. How about we provide them a car next.
  3. I plan on being there. Maybe we should invite the Roane County Sheriff.
  4. Had a great time yesterday at the get together. Good to meet some of the members of this group. I have been trying to upload pictures all morning but have not been able to. I think my file size may be too large. They are about 6meg. If anyone has an idea as to what my problem may be, please let me know. I did find a web site to post them to. Here is a link. I hope it works. TGO Shoot 8-16-2008/ [/url] Thanks again to everone for a great time.
  5. This is TOTAL BULL ****. Why in the hell are taxpayers paying for something that 15 years ago almost no one had! My cell phone stays in my truck and is usually OFF. What are we going to pay for next?
  6. I just purchased a Mossberg 500 this summer. No regrets. Good price. Got an 18 and 28 in barrel with it.
  7. Could not agree more with Reverend Manning. If Obama is elected we are all black and white in trouble.
  8. I plan on coming. What's all this about spiders? I found some in my garage. I can bringthem if needed!
  9. For those looking for American made clothing, check out this web site. http://americanmadeyes.com/clothing.html
  10. I could not agree more. I carry a Ruger SP101 in a DeSantis pocket holster. No one has ever noticed it. I usually avoid places I know could be trouble. Unfortunately no one is sure where these places are any more. I have it if I need it, and pray I NEVER use it. Just like insurance.
  11. At least they have your application. They lost mine. I had to go back to Clinton drivers license office and give them another copy. Don't remember what color it was. Took another month or so.
  12. Hadn't seen the video before now. Shows what they made it for. Would make a car jacker think twice. As far as me getting one, I have already purchased my gun for the year. A Mossberg 500. Too big to carry in the car.
  13. From all the input, looks like this gun would be good for home protection, or snake defense. May have to add it to my wish list
  14. I took this class last Saturday 7-26. I have to agree with everything Len has in the original post. Phantom6 does a great job. I would highly recommend his training.
  15. Has anyone ever shot the Taurus Judge 410 Revolver? I was wondering how much recoil it has and if it was difficult to shoot.
  16. I got my letter yesterday. I have supported this group in the past, but never received a letter stating I had a handgun permit. Would this not fall under the Federal Privacy Act? Anyway my letter is in the trash.
  17. Its strange to me also. I will send you an email and see if you get it. I know hotmail will mark all the email I get from NRA as unsafe but I still get it. Maybe we can look at this at a break on the 26th.

  20. I mailed my registration form and check last week. Hope you have it by now. I know the mail moves slow.

    Revolvers?

I go with Revolvers. I carry Ruger SP101. Also have S&W 620. I just think revolvers are safer than semi-autos and don't jam. The biggest draw back I see is the number of rounds they have.
  25. Austin I went over to your web site to see if you had schedule any additional classes. The schedule only went to march 08. Is there another site for your class schedule?
