If you ask someone who pays no federal income tax, the response you will get is Yes i pay all my federal income tax. They don't realize they are not paying and most are getting a big refund, if the have children, by getting EITC, and ACTC. Both refundable credits. The year TN was debating a state income tax, I asked those making less than $30,000 if they were in favor of this tax and would they pay it. I don't remember anyone saying they were in favor and all said they wouldn't pay it. I beleive the magic number for not paying this tax was income less then $30,000.00. The point I am trying to make is those not paying income tax have no idea they are not paying it. They believe that only the rich are not paying. Listen to what Obama says. He may be down in the polls now, but this is the same strategy the Dems. have used since Truman and most of the time it worked.

I through they were still "exploring" their possible run. Must have missed their announcements.

The last election there was not an incumbent president or setting vice president running. May have been the reason so many were in the race by now. Gary Johnson and Herman Cain are the only two to announce they are running on GOP side. Not exactly household names.

Has anyone considered using water from rain barrels? I put three, 50 gal barrels, around my house mainly to water plants during the summer. I purchased a Katadyn filter with the idea of using the water in the barrels, if we had to for drinking water.

I am guessing you do not qualify for EITC. Did you include the make work pay credit? When it comes to taxes nothing is as easy as it looks. Good Luck.
