They started  shipping a couple of months ago. Hard to get. From what I have read on the SASS Wire, Winchester will only produce a limited number. I called the factory back in May and was told if I wasn't already on a waiting list at a gun dealer, it would be hard to get one. I have seen a few on Gun Broker. As long as administration won't talk or tell the truth, we will continue to hear things like this. It's hard for me to believe that someone with no authority could walk in and give an order like that, even if Obama told her to. Wouldn't Leon question it? :shrug:

I don't see how this ban would stand up to a court challenge . Besides if you start banning people for disagreeing with something, you wouldn't have anyone left to serve.

I remember when Ho Chi Minh died. South Vietnam had a national day of morning for him. At the time I couldn't believe this or understand it, after all he was the enemy. Years later I read that he was a national hero in both north and south because he defended the French. France was our Allie. Truman was trying to get NATO up and running in 1946. Needed France to do so. No way he could help Ho Chi Minh. US has helped and backed a lot of dictators since WWII. Had Ho been one of them, 60,000 brave Americans may not have had to made the ultimate sacrifice.

Middle class whites started moving out in the 60s after the riots. I remember the headlines in the local paper "Detroit's nice neighborhoods a burning HELL". Middle class blacks soon followed. Auto industry started moving south away from unions. Detroit's problems have been in the making for 50 years. Too bad the short sighted political leaders didn't see it coming. Now they are faced with a lot of retirees losing pensions. Any state or federal aid will be a band aid. Unless they can increase revenue, ie taxes, their problem won't go away. It's going to be hard to increase the tax base without new jobs and industry going in. Poor people out of work don't pay taxes.  

Did he replace Larry King? :shrug:  Everyone I use to watch on CNN,  Stu, Lou, are now on FOX. :lol:
