So a while back I picked up a Beretta Nano for use as a smaller CCW piece. Today I finally got it out and shot it. Lets just say I experienced a few malfunctions, heres the breakdown: Speer Lawman 124gr. 70 shots fired, 8 FTE Winchester WB 115gr. 50 shots fired, 4 FTE So, exactly a 10% failure rate. I have not yet run any factory Gold Dots through it, that will probably come soon. After my morning shooting session I am less than thrilled with this fine piece of Beretta craftsmanship - not sure I want to feed it anymore. I did clean and lube it before heading to the range, and I cleaned and lubed it again after the first 50 rounds. So, would you guys send it back to Beretta, or put another hundred or so rounds through it hoping that it will 'break in'? Anyone else have a similar situation?

Extreme Danger: Brady Liberal With A Gun

Trying to explain simple logic to these people is like trying to nail jello to a wall. -
To me, that has scam written all over it. The syntax and his choice of words is just... strange. Personally I would let that one go.

I find it amazing how people pick and choose which parts of the Bible support their views on certain subjects, while denying other parts. I also find some of the statements made, whether they are in jest or not simply appalling. I would ask everyone to remember that everything posted online is 'out there' forever. As a forum dedicated to guns and gun related topics we as gun owners should represent ourselves in the best possible manner (especially in this political climate), even online. I'm not saying you should not express your opinions / beliefs, but some of the comments left by members in this thread and the other related one have been downright foul. Just a thought all. -

Unfortunately situations like this can be common. It is good to see that the deputies did their job well and nobody was injured on either side. -

It seems a bit sketch to me. Likewise I would ask for specific photos as a starting point. -
Your friend has talked the owner into taking a major loss for you. I would be all over that deal and express some serious gratitude.

Good lord. Where are these deals?!?! Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

Agreed. The only reason this made it a deal for me was a birthday discount and the fact that there were other items I HAD to order. If not for that I would have passed.

Got one of each. Had a few other things I needed from midway so it made the shipping reasonable. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

I think it is just part of the average male ego that we are 'bigger' and 'stronger' than women so therefore only we can shoot them big manly .45's. Personally, I think this is a load of horse $*&%. Women are very strong and even handle pain better than your average man. Furthermore, have you seen the number of things your wife/girlfriend is capable of doing efficiently at one time? I am confident that any gun a girl picks up regardless of caliber or number of levers and gizmos she will become competent in short order. Every shooter is different, and should be treated as such. Let him or her make their own decisions when it comes to weapons selection, and offer advice only if it is asked for. Edited to add: My best friend (girl) bought her first gun two months ago - Glock 17. She can shoot circles around most shooters I know with it.

I try to avoid taking my car into a shop unless there is just no way for me to access the area of the car I need to repair or maintain. I just have never found an auto shop that i really trusted. Each one has always burned me in some way.

I've got an issue not my Ed Brown

I went through a period after my LASIK surgery where I really couldn't see jack out of either eye. In that time, I found my XS big dots the easiest to see, followed by my Trijicon HD's. My vision was probably sitting at 20/60ish in both eyes at the time with a lot of debris if that makes any sense, so it was generally hard to see. My .02 for what it is worth.
