  1. Yet another reason I openly carry a large firearm and have a knife on me when hiking. You meet some odd people on the trails.
  2. Natural selection missed that one...
  3. Personally I vote Glock for its advantage in weight, sights, accessories, etc. While the Beretta has more classic lines, this type of gun for me is about pure function, not aesthetics. Hence I choose Glock.
  4. The problem with selling it to any kind of shop is just that, they're a shop - they have to resell it. Selling any item yourself is always going to get you the most out of it. I am not aware of anywhere in or around Clarksville that will allow you to bypass that. I realize that the fee to post it here might seem high, especially when you are trying to get every dollar out of it, but that fee will most likely get you the absolute most out of your gun by allowing it to be sold to the audience that will pay what you are looking for. If you can bring yourself to it, I would suggest getting a membership here. The last time I renewed mine, I thought I would use it a time or two, and have used it over a dozen times now. Plus that fee helps keep the servers up and give us access to this community! Anyway, regardless of your choice, GLWS!
  5. My P32 has some micro finish issues, but other than that is an excellent weapon. It has never and any kind of failure or jam. Regardless of whatever else I carry, it's always in my pocket.
  6. That sucks to hear about your DB. They are a nice design. My Kel-Tec P32 has been trouble free for over 300 rounds to this point. I don't think you always have to spend big money on a gun to get reliability, sometimes it's just the luck of the draw.
  7. I've lived in loudon my whole life. Never knew these guys were there.
  8. I love this, and feel it's a step in the right direction. I just don't care for the color, or serration's. If it were in any other color, and had maybe... fluting, I would be ordering on right now.
  9. Well, it's in production! http://www.511tactical.com/Tactical-Duty-Kilt.html
  10. I signed up to be notified if / when they come in!
  11. For those of you who have not seen, this is pretty awesome. I am sure it is an April fools joke, but it is very well put together and executed. Well done 5.11. http://www.511tactical.com/Tactical-Duty-Kilt.html?keycode=Wemail_TacticalKiltMarch Be sure to check out the video at the bottom of the page!
  12. Had I been on the farm, as soon as I gained access to the house I would have made some changes. I would have moved as many supplies as possible upstairs and rigged a quick way to destroy to the steps. If zombies start advancing I would move everyone up and destroy the steps. Lastly I'd have the rv parked outside with a hole in the roof for a fast evacuation if need be. That would be the basis for my plan. I most certainly would not have gone outside and drove in circles while cowboying down as many walkers as possible.
  13. That's some shotgun Herschel has.
  14. Predictions for who will die tomorrow night? I am expecting Carol, Herschel and his family (-Maggie).
  15. +1. Awesome knife for the outdoors. Have a set of micarta grips on mine.
  16. Seriously. It drove me nuts when they just took off. In less than ten minutes that group could have grabbed every mag and gun outside that field. I don't get it. I guess the show is less interesting if everyone has an M4 and knows how to use it.
  17. .22lr 9mm .38 special .357 magnum .44 magnum
  18. Big fan of Remora Holsters. Might not seem like it will work well at first glance, but give it a try. It is the only holster I will carry IWB with these days, for many many reasons. http://www.remoraholsters.com/
  19. ALL of my Glock have; Scherer 3.5lb connector, Glockworx trigger spring, factory extended magazine release and slide stop, slug plug, rubber Talon Grips, and night sights. Thats it for me, everything else I have always found to be a waste. When I am installing the trigger connector and spring I take some time and stone the contacting surfaces.
  20. I am iffy on Bushmaster. For most people, I feel they make a fine weapon. I am assuming your average person is just going to shoot it a few times a year and expect few problems without any serious work involving their AR. I myself have seen numerous issues of poor staking and cutting of feed ramps on Bushmasters to be comfortable with them for the price you are looking to pay. I suggest you take a good look at other manufacturers and see what options are available to you and compare / contrast those against Bushmaster. If you find the Bushmaster has everything you want at a price you want, excellent. You might just find that you can get better quality / options from someone else for the same price however. Just my .02
